Room is nice clean, warm and light. Quiet being a smaller amount of people. Staffed well at all times. We have our mother here now after a 1 1/2 years at another well known place which was a disaster minimum care and 200 plus people. Very hectic but now it is peaceful and she enjoys joining at mealtime and other functions. Food has been good and variety of meals. This has also made me and my wife’s retirement years enjoyable knowing that she has great care and compassion from the staff. Ashly has
We love the expert personalized care and superior service that the caregivers and nursing staff give my husband with his Parkinson's Disease and dementia. The atmosphere of a home, nutritional meals, fun activities and loving care make it so special!
Longhouse Memory Care has been a great place for my mom. She has been there for nearly a year and feels well cared for by the staff. She loves the food and having so much greenery nearby. Ashley, the general manager, is phenomenal! She cares deeply for the residents and is great at managing the logistics of the house. I assume Longhouse is a good employer because staff turnover is very low. The staff seem well supported and do their jobs well. I highly recommend Longhouse to anyone looking for
Between my in-laws, and my parents, we have a lot of experience over with care facilities over 22 years. Everything from private homes to nursing homes, and everything in between. Longhouse Bothell has been a good fit for us and our mother for over 2 years. It is a cross between a home and a facility, located in a nice neighborhood. You are welcome to visit your loved one at any time. You do not feel like you are intruding in a private home, but you also don't feel like you are visiting an inst
This is in a nice residential neighborhood with a small park down the street. I appreciate the team work and willingness to make suggested changes when I have recommended something. Every individual is unique and it is the teamwork with clients and their families that help make it a good environment for all involved.
Of all the places we toured Longhouse felt more like a home. The staff was very caring and helpful. I felt that my loved one was in good hands while I wasn't able to be there. When I was able to be there they were respectful of our time to visit and knocked on the door when they needed to tend to him. There are many options out there, but this is the one we called home for our dad.
Our dear friend suffered from dementia and other neurological issues. We were getting overwhelmed with caring for him at home. It took us over a year of searching and interviewing professional caregivers between Federal Way, Seattle and Mount Vernon before we finally felt the Longhouse Memory Care Household in Bothell would be the most suitable place. Their philosophy of “smaller is better” worked out ideally for us. In the quiet neighborhood we could go out and spend some quality time together.
