Reviews for Judson Park Retirement Community

Caring Staff, Concerning Gaps

Judson Park receives predominantly positive feedback for warm, caring staff and successful rehabilitation outcomes, particularly in short-term rehab stays. However, serious concerns exist about understaffing and medical response protocols. One family reported a devastating incident where stroke symptoms were allegedly misdiagnosed as a UTI and went untreated for over 24 hours, resulting in permanent functional decline. Cost increases and staff-to-resident ratios are also criticized, though multiple families praise the facility's cleanliness, communication, and pandemic response.

The people at Judson Park are the very best. I have made so many good friends since moving. The staff really cares. Very full social calendar of activities.

Thank you, Judson Park, for making such a warm and welcoming home for so many people. It really feels like you are with a group of caring, people who see you as individuals. The staff and people who live there are all very welcoming and have so much kindness for everyone. Judson Park sets the tone for such nice exchanges.

My husband came home today after spending 4 weeks at the Rehab and 12 days in the hospital. When he first arrived, he couldn't stand without 2-person assistance. They started working with him and he now walks with his walker independently. When I went for tour of the facility it had a very welcoming appearance and staff was available to answer all my questions. The building has no odors. I was a nurse for 52 years and my husband had been a nurse for over 40 years. I was impressed by the staff at

I should have left a review sooner but here we are. WARNING ‼️ I would not trust my parent or grandparent in the hands of Judson park “nurses” and staff. My nana resided here for YEARS and despite absolutely draining her bank account with constant increases in costs (with her status not changing) to the final straw was them NOT CALLING A DR WHEN SHE HAD A STROKE. They said it was just a uti and her stroke went untreated for more than 24 hours and she lost all ability to speak, walk, or do anyth

Judson park is by far the best place hands down! My father in law recently had to spend a few weeks to recover and get PT. The staff was so friendly and gave updates when they could and answered any questions in a timely manner. If we ever need to have skilled nursing again, we will gladly choose them!!! Thank you wonderful Judson park staff!!

My loved one was previously a resident at Judson Park Retirement Community and it was not a good experience. They were severely understaffed. The people that were working there were doing their best with the ratio of residents to staff, which was inadequate. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this facility to others.

Hello, I am writing as a daughter of a resident at Judson Park for the last three years. I have yet to have any concerns regarding the care that is provided at this wonderful community. What has prompted me to write a review (which I honestly rarely do) is the immediate and loving response that my father has received in the midst of a pandemic. First of all, I was overseas when this began and was immediately concerned that my father was living in a senior community where the COVID-19 virus wa
