My dad spent two years here, and it was the best thing for him. The caregivers here are endlessly kind and patient. They offered him a small community of care and support that became a family style environment. The home cooked meals, kind conversation, and thoughtful activities greatly increased his quality of life. They are knowledgeable, supportive, and wise. Lilly, the owner, was an absolutely phenomenal advocate for dad and emotional support for us as his kids. Can't recommend them enough!
As a nurse, I have been in hundreds of adult family homes. I’ve seen good and bad homes. This home is phenomenal. My own mother lived at Cascade Caregivers AFH. The love and attention she received was beyond expectation. She thrived under their care, with home cooked meals, so many wonderful activities, and most of all, genuine love and compassion. Cascade Caregivers was a great fit for my mom. In a cozy, comfortable, homey environment up to 6 adults are cared for by loving, kind people. It is a casual atmosphere with structure. Family and friends may visit anytime and always made to feel welcome. Residents are dressed daily and encouraged to join others in the living room or den. My grandpa was here. Amazing caregivers who are fun while taking care of business. The value of a family-like setting, the caregiver: elder ratio, and the unavoidable transparency of care quality...to all who are here...is hard to appreciate without knowing how bad elder care can get when done in private in a building where the important investment is in curb appeal.
I cannot say enough about the wonderful staff or the cleanliness of the house. My dad spent the last 10 months of his life here and they treated him AND US like family. If I had to leave town I knew my dad was in good hands. Lots of laughter and love, it’s never easy making the decision to move your parent but when and if the time comes I highly recommend Cascade Caregivers! Thank you for everything
