Reviews for Cascade Place
Caring Staff, Questionable Medicaid Practices
Most families praise Cascade Place's attentive staff, cleanliness, and quality food, with residents reportedly happy and well-cared for over many years. However, one family reported a serious ethical breach where management allegedly reneged on a verbal Medicaid room agreement to accept a higher-paying resident instead. Several reviewers note concerns about costs increasing after move-in and the absence of Medicaid spend-down options, suggesting financial accessibility may be limited.
I cannot in good faith recommend Cascade Place for your loved ones. Story time, so Buckle up. My elderly father is on Medicaid/Medicare and is in an low-income semi-assisted living. his friend who is a retired surgeon lives near Cascade Place, and got my father on the waiting list. Fast-forward a number of months, and a Medicaid/Medicare room became vacant but needed a complete renovation due to the previous resident. During this renovation, they contacted my father's friend, the retired surgeon

My parents are thriving at Cascade Place in Enumclaw. The staff is amazing! They have so many activities for the residents, there is something for everyone. They both really enjoy the food, which is huge for assisted living and memory care. I really can’t say enough how happy my parents are, and what a relief it is to have them there.
I have had the pleasure of visiting this facility a few times the past few months and every staff member has been very welcoming and super nice. I have talked with quite a few of the residents and they all seemed very happy with living at Cascade and all seem very well cared for. I have observed their meals and they are very nicely presented and great quality food choices. The rooms are spacious and the building is nicely decorated.
My mother has been a resident for the past 5 years. The best asset this assisted living facility has is it's staff. They are so caring and positive and are always willing to help in any way. Turn over in staff has been low since COVID. My mom truly feels cared for. Would highly recommend.
I think it is a good place but for my parents it wasn't a good fit. I think that they make it appealing and affordable to get it there, but once they are there, they reassess , and raise the cost of care. They do not offer the medicaid spend down. It is a business and hard to balance people and profit. In my parents situations, my parents were both on dementia spectrum, and I believe had the assessment been more thorough on the front end, we could have had a better understanding of the c
Cascade Place has a very nice environment. The residents who live there all get along well. The staff are amazing. Overall, I would say it is a great place. We chose it because we liked a smaller community, it was the cleanest , and the things my mother needed were available to her there. My mother hasn't complained about anything. She likes living there and likes the food.
Very much liked the feel of the place. Secure. Small. Convient for me, not as much for my brother. cat ok. Nice center outside courtyard. Nice rooms
Overall appearance of buildings, grounds and staff was good. I might miss a stove, but maybe that's the way it is. I am concerned that there is no "spend down" policy. I'll be having lunch there on the 26th.
My mother did not live there but we checked out Cascade Place. [Removed] have been absolutely incredible. They have not only been empathetic with my mother but also with our family. They are concerned about the whole family because the whole family is affected when a loved one is not well. They've acted above and beyond, calling to see how we were sending cards and giving encouragement even though it was likely that my mom would not end up at Cascade place. We had lunch there and I met the resid
I am very happy with the care at this community. The staff are helpful and keep me informed on her progress. The meals are good and very healthy that she does enjoy. The community is very and that is a good feeling. She is doing some of the activities that she does enjoy and likes playing cards with her friend. We would recommend this community outstanding care
Moving my mother into an assisted living facility was one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make, and picking the right place for her to live was a necessity. It had to be second best to home, but even better. It needed to be a place where she would have all of her needs met, be cared for, and nurtured. And most importantly, I wanted her to be happy. Everything, plus more, is at Cascade Place. The management, the staff, the facility, all are exceptional. They have welcomed my mot
The community is really well kept and very clean. All residents are very happy and very social as is the staff. The residents, every one of them are very happy with their living situation here. The staff is helpful, professional, and seem to really enjoy their work. To date I did not find any negative reasons or mishaps in the two weeks my mother resided here. My mom has decided that she would like to move permanently to this facility and is very very excited about it. After searching for
My mother in law is a five star hotel. Everything is going fine with her over there. The community is very clean I have no concerns there. The staff is very friendly and helped my mother in law adjust with the move. They service her every need and we have recommended it to friends and family. Overall she is very happy and really enjoys the community.
