Quality Care, Communication Concerns
LLAFH earns strong praise from a long-term family member (6+ years) who highlights RN ownership, quality care, and excellent location near parks. However, one serious complaint alleges the facility denied a family visit without proper notice, though another reviewer defends this as appropriate COVID-19 safety protocol and cites independent agencies giving the facility high marks. Limited reviews make it difficult to assess typical experiences.
My wife has been a resident since 2015. I work in the nonprofit retirement community industry and did a competitive analysis before selecting LLAFH. Owned & operated by an RN, the street view shows the house in front and not the home. The care has been good and the proximity to Steel Lake and Town Square Parks, plus The Commons, is great for "walk & rolls." I strongly recommend LLAFH after 6+ years!
Trish, You came to visit, in group, without notice, a person in my wife’s legal care. Previously we sent Laura a letter offering to pay her way up from California to visit her brother, later we extended a method to arrange visits during this Covid times. All these offers were declined. Your attempt at a group visit could have put all the residents at risk. We applaud the nurses for protecting their clients.
