My mother lived here for two years before her passing this month. There are not enough positive comments to do this home the justice it deserves. This home for six women, gives personal care to each resident around the clock. There are two caregivers on duty at all times. Each of the residents have extensive memory needs and as the dementia progresses the home provides whatever is needed. I cant say enough wonderful things about Magnolia Gardens Adult Foster Care. From the moment we first visited we felt the warmth and dedication of the staff. Caregivers are incredibly attentive, compassionate and definitely go above and beyond. The home is clean, and very well maintained. Meals are nutritious and thoughtfully prepared. The first time we stepped in the door at Magnolia Gardens Senior Care, we knew something was different than other homes we had visited. My grandpa has been living here for a couple of years and I can say I am very happy I picked this place over others. it’s like a huge family. they are great on keeping me in the loop of things and taking great care of my grandpas needs. staff is great, friendly and they have a great administrator very knowledgeable. With work and life being so busy this place has given me the confidence that even if I can’t check up on my grandpa daily I know he's ok and in great hands.

I agree with others, if I could give no stars, I would. Went to visit a family member today. Absolutely nobody manning the reception desk. We found a button on the wall, thought it was a call button and pushed it 3 separate times, but nobody came. Finally called the facility. Pushed 1 for reception thinking maybe the person had to step away for a minute, but of course it went straight to voicemail. Hung up, called back and hit 2 for a staff member. I see so many awful reviews but most are more than 2 years ago. My husband has been at GAL only 3 months and my first impression, admittedly, was not favorable but, I feel compelled to review them now because they definitely are not a 1 or 2 star place. They have made great improvements just in the 3 months my husband has been there. He has never been soiled when I arrived and though it takes a little bit more time than I'd like when his call button is pushed, they do come and care for him.

This place needs more monitoring. Staff takes food from patients packages. They don’t give seconds to patients that are still hungry, even when asked. If family send care packages they take it and eat it. And only give after it’s been opened. Will be reporting to license and state. No one returns calls. Need information where else to go for complaints.
