I toured the independent living community of Spiritwood at Pine Lake. It's a nice place up there, but it takes forever to get to where I want to be, like my activities. It's half an hour away from everything, even though it's close. I liked it, and it had its perks, but I don't want to live in that location. I went there, introduced myself, and sat in the waiting area, and the staff kinda forgot about me. It's just that the receptionist forgot to tell the salespeople, bu
My partner moved into Spiritwood at Pine Lake. The people have been very positive and responsive in helping her settle in. Her room size is good. We decorated it all ourselves, and it's a decent-sized room for her. I dined there, and the upkeep was good. The service was good, but she needed to adjust her diet, and they haven't done that yet. She has dietary restrictions, and they haven't really implemented them. So, that's been a bit of a delay with that. She has dietary rest
Pleasant atmosphere, friendly well trained, and kind staff and caregivers! I am a healthcare clinician providing in home medical care. I have visited residents at this facility for over 1 year and almost routinely witnessed the excellent care they provide. Today, Leah, a caregiver was helping a resident apply her make-up with gentle attention to detail. And Jordan, the wellness director, (hope I got your title correct) stopped what she was doing when I showed up unexpectedly to give report on a
We visited Spiritwood at Pine Lake. We were looking for a place that offers both independent living and assisted living, where we would enter an independent living, but as needed down the line, we could get assisted care provided at the same place, so you don't have to move again. The director was fine. It was very nice. The only thing she had available that was empty was a one-bedroom, and we looked at that, and that was very nice, but a little small for us. We're on their wait list l
My walk-through of Spiritwood at Pine Lake was very nice. The people were very friendly. They gave us all the information that we needed to have. And the reason we chose that is because it's close to our daughter's home, so it would be easy for the family to stay in touch. They have one-bedroom apartments. They have a courtyard and a laundry area, too. They have lots of stuff.
We toured Spiritwood at Pine Lake. We liked the cottage of the independent living very much, more so than the building. The tour guide was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable and very welcoming. He was very good. The building seemed nice. It appeared to be clean. The halls were clean. It felt warm and welcoming. They had a sign welcoming my husband and myself, and I thought that was very nice.
My grams lives here & I don’t think I could’ve found a better place for her. At first, I was very skeptical BUT Chris reassured me of all the activities she would be doing and the occasional family gatherings. He’s so friendly & knowledgeable. Thank you Chris!
What a wonderful place for my parents to live. I looked around for different locations because my parents couldn't do it on their own anymore. I toured 4 different places including Spiritwood and I kept coming back to Spiritwood. I found that Spiritwood actually cares about the people living there and the staff has taken the time to get to know my parents and understands their wants and needs. My parents seem to be thriving vs when they lived in an apartment. They have friends, they are eating 3
I was just blown away by the organization of the gal that took us through Spiritwood at Pine Lake. She gave us so many handouts of things to think about when you're looking for a place to live. That place was so well run and it was so organized. The amenities were top-notch. It was clean. Most of the residents there were very, very happy there. There was longevity in that one. The courtyard was beautiful. The dining room looked great. They had a whole slew of different floor plans, and tha
Probably the best point about our tour at Spiritwood at Pine Lake was Kristen, the woman that we met with. She was very friendly and very knowledgeable about everything. She's the only one of the facility people that ever followed up with us. So, that made a difference. Plus, it was a medium-sized facility, very modern, very updated, and kind of almost elegant looking. It's very close to my house and it seemed to have everything that we were looking for. It's a beautiful place.
I toured Spiritwood at Pine Lake, but the assigned person doing the tours was on vacation. So, the person who assisted us just wasn't that great at what she was doing. But I'm going to say it's no fault of hers. It was a lovely facility and it was fairly new. It was very well kept. The staff was nice, and the residents were very friendly and welcoming. They had a beauty salon, a library, an exercise room, a theater, and they had gathering places. They had studios, and 1 and 2-bedr
The independent living at Spiritwood at Pine Lake was absolutely beautiful. The woman that toured us was very energetic, almost a little too much for my dad. But she was very energetic and very knowledgeable. They had private shared wall condos separate from the facility, they were homes. It's very beautiful and independent, it's a much different level of care than what my dad needs. It's probably the most expensive one we looked at, but it looked like it was worth the price. It&a
I went to Spiritwood at Pine Lake. It is closer to my home. It was very nice, but it wasn't as fresh and new, but that didn't matter because it was very homey, and it had a good atmosphere. The staff were knowledgeable. And because I dropped in, it wasn't like they were ready for me, so I think that I may have thrown them off their schedule. The woman who took care of me did take the time to tour me. She was the front desk receptionist, so she wasn't the normal marketing pers
Village Concepts of Issaquah-Spirit at Pine Lake had separate cottages. I really liked them, but they were too small for us this time. If I was a single person, I could move there, but my husband and I needed more space than that. The outside grounds were lovely. The individual cottages were very well done. They had an exercise room, card playing, and other games. I also liked that I would be able to fix my own food, because there was a very nice kitchen with a very nice appliance. If you live i
I visited Spiritwood at Pine Lake. I liked the fact that the community seemed to really live and experience the whole facility, like someone was playing the piano. People seemed very involved and happy to be there. The person that gave me the tour was very helpful, and I think it could have also been a good fit for my mom. The dining area was very nice. It was not at that time really being used, but it was spacious, and I think it was near an area where you could walk out to a patio; that was re
I will be moving into the cottages at Spiritwood at Pine Lake. It's independent, but I can go into the assisted living if needed. There's a dining room, and there were activities going on. The staff was very good. I like the outdoors. It's in a very quiet and wooded area. I will have a nice, new, little cottage, and it has its own garage. I can walk to the main area for activities. I met some of the neighbors there. It's just one street with cottages, and they were very nice
My mother has been living at Spiritwood since December 2018. She has memory issues, but still likes to be active. I love this place. The apartments are cleaned right down to washing the bedding. The whole facility is also so clean without any coverup smell. Meals are served in the dining room where friendships form. The servers get to know each resident and know their special needs as well as likes and dislikes. The staff are all wonderful and caring. From the smiling face greeting you as you wa
It's the place to live! Management is fantastic! Living Conditions are Fantastic! Staff Fantastic. Everything just works together to make a great community!
My father lives at Spritwood. He's going to be 93 very soon. Recently, I listened to a public radio discussion about elder abuse and the concerning state of our assisted living environments. I could only think how very fortunate our family is to be a part of Spiritwood and their caring staff and management. The environment is ALWAYS clean, what I refer to as 'spic and span' everywhere--dining room, bathrooms, communal areas, and private living spaces. That says a lot! When I visit, I immediately
I think the staff were very caring at Spiritwood of Pine Lake. They were extremely helpful to me when I was trying to make decisions. The dining room is beautiful. They don't have a lot of grounds, but they have a library and theater area. The rooms are nice and big. They take Medicare after two years. The dining room is gorgeous. It has a great patio. The food is okay.
This facility is located near our home so we picked this over the others. We are also the only main support system of my mother-in-law so its convenient for us to visit her. It is a four-story apartment; the lower floor is the dining room and the salon which is important to her. The rooms are nice and she is in one that she borrows the furniture from the facility (others bring their own). She likes the food. They have different chefs who cook for the residents. She likes some of them better than
