I cannot say enough positive about Lucy's AFH, the home and the people that run it are wonderful! It is always very clean and when visiting you can tell it is a happy place. Every resident is celebrated on their special day with a birthday party! The caregivers go the extra mile to care for their residents, as they really do care. You can use their lovely décor or you can decorate with your own belongings. After many places (4) before coming to Lucy's, I can attest to the difference it made
It’s hard to believe a place like this actually exists: it’s not perfect of course, but it’s pretty darn close. Really good food, daily activities, cleanliness. And a loving atmosphere. I really can’t imagine anything better for someone you care about who needs residential care.
My Mom has been a resident here for several years and has always received excellent care. The staff puts tremendous effort into providing for all the needs of everyone. We are very relieved to have found such a great environment for her.
My parents have received top notch care at this sparkling clean, very special place, above and beyond where they were previously. The ladies take care of every need, from making nutritious and delicious meals, monitoring diabetes and obtaining personalized music play lists for each client. My mom has been a resident here for some time. I'm very familiar with AFHs and have had loved ones in several - quite honestly, Lucy's is unlike any I've seen. The home is kept meticulously clean. While this definitely matters, what makes this place truly stand out is the level of care that these two ladies (sisters!) provide. The residents are asked for input on the menu.
