Very friendly staff and the residents were very happy to greet me. They were interacting with me and with each other as well. Everyone was smiling. The apartments are well situated and open, airy with a balcony or patio. Walk in showers, and a basic kitchens if you don’t want to go to the lovely dining room or have a snack from the deli. I recently toured Cogir of Kent with [name removed], the community relations coordinator. [name removed] was friendly, understanding, and exceedingly knowledgeable. The facility was impressive, the rooms spacious and well-appointed, and the cost of care more than competitive with other assisted living facilities in the area.

It was a beautiful assistant living facility but no memory care onsite. It felt like a hotel. Mom needs a lot of care and reminders. She may be a better fit in a smaller environment.

Caregivers assist 24/7 with diaper needs, hoyer lifts. Med techs help with medication. Lots of great daily activities to fit different needs. Bus trips for shopping and casino days. Card games, holiday festivities, ice cream socials, live music on weekends. Many residents are seen out at coffee bar/bistro socializing. It's refreshing to see an active and happy community.

Cogir of Kent has been a great place for my dad. He enjoys the food. There are multiple activities planned each day. He looks forward to the live music each week. The staff is attentive and addresses concerns promptly.

When I first got here I was confussed about my needs. This apartment could have been in cleaner condition. The patio still has dead bugs and cob webs all over it. The cement has gaps and debris that needs to be vacuumed and fixed. For the most part it is fine. Not sure why cabinets and the microwave are so high in design for seniors. It is warm and dry. I looked at many places. I picked this one.

This is a great facility. They take great care of my family member they care so much and really focus on their health and happiness. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs a family member that needs assistance with the day to day issues of life

Everyone is friendly, including the residents. I am often addressed by first name. The facility is open, bright and clean. While my father doesn’t take advantage of most of the outings, there are a number of them every month.

Brighter and more open from the lobby to the hallways. Mom has loved living here and I actually enjoy visiting her here. The costs are always going up as they are most places but it’s seems like it’s worth it at this location.

A wonderful retirement community—I visited today, and the staff were very patient and welcoming.

Fantastic care,which is really the most important thing. Bernard is amazing as is the entire care staff. Mario and Jenn at the front desk are helpful and kind. I only give it 4 stars due to long hallways and needing more senior activities.

It is a great facility. My dad has been there for 2 years now I think. He is doing great. They take good care of him. The facility is very clean I have eaten there a couple times and the food is pretty decent.

Cogir of Kent has been a very pleasant experience for my mom. The staff is quite professional, knowledgeable, and very responsive when something is needed. Meals are prepared with care and compassion. The chefs are willing to work with the residents specific dietary restrictions and bend over backwards to accommodate everyone! I highly recommend if you have a loved one looking for Senior Assisted or Independent living this is the place to be!

I have been here almost 3 weeks now and am really enjoying several things about it. It's a newer facility and so the all of the fixtures are still new. The staff are all incredibly nice and the food is excellent. I am looking forward to a long stay.

What we like the most about Cogir of Kent is that It's very clean, the staff are exceptionally nice, the food's good. Mom has the usual grumbles, but after working in skilled nursing facility, she doesn't know how good she has it! Yes, we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

The food has a wide variety to choose from and there are no cost for meals as there is in some place. The lighting in this building is fantastic. Each apartment is light and airy. The grounds are well maintained. There are plenty of social activities. Great staff. Secure building. Transportation Friday night social hour with entertainment.

I have been in this community for 9 months. I like the privacy most of all. The cleanliness and the food selection are both excellent. My daily walk around the building totally unencumbered is wonderful. Last, but not least, COGIR is a community of caring individuals. Most residents care about each other and their daily well-being. The facility is designed as a Condominium with all the amenities. My brother works down the street and had no idea Cogir Kent is an assisted living facility. They have Concierges, the rooms are designed as individual Condos, some even have patios. The common areas are individualized and comfy. This community has been great for my mom. We moved her from her own apartment to the Cogir. She has made a lot of friends and is more active. The staff is wonderful and very nice to all of the residents.

In our experience one of the big challenges for senior living facilities is staffing. Cogir of Kent is well-staffed and seems to treat staff members very well because there has been very little turnover so far amongst the management and/or care personnel. The facility is quite new and feels very spacious and upscale even though the cost is very much in line with others in the area.

Cogir of Kent staff gave us a great tour, easily answered questions, and made my dad feel welcome. The staff are very friendly, the facility is very clean and has a lot of safety features. I went to Cogir of Kent. I thought the building was well-kept and the food was good. The people were very welcoming. The person who gave us the tour was extremely helpful and very nice. They took a lot of time to answer our questions without being too pushy. The dining area was centrally located, clean, and spacious.

Cogir of Kent was very good, but it was a distance from my house. The tour was very good. They had the same setup as the other place. They showed me a studio apartment. The staff was very nice. There was one person that led me around. I was so amazed that I didn't pay too much attention. I didn't realize that any place could be that nice.

I would say the residents and most of the staff are very friendly and concerned about each other. Take the time and initiative to get to know as many people as possible. It's the best value for their money. We chose Cogir over the others because we watched it being built and every time Dad said "I wish I could live there." Honestly. Cogir of Kent community hit a 5 on everything. My mom actually passed away 10 days after she arrived. So my experiences ended [date removed] . This community was a solid 5 whilst she was there.

My loved one is a resident at Cogir of Kent and everything has been great for him at this facility. It's a beautiful place visually that is tastefully decorated with a variety of artwork. It's been an easy move. Staff helped with suggestions for movers. It's close to restaurants for a night out. And my dad seems happy there. Just wish the kitchen didn't close at 6 pm. Also on entertainment - while inviting other groups to the monthly events can be fun, it can also be overwhelming for the residents.

We came for a resident event and to see the facility. The outside of the building and the grounds are very neat and well kept. We were given a tour inside and the facility is gorgeous. I have been to Cadence multiple times for events that they have had, the staff there is great and very presentable. there is not a time I went by and was not greeted by someone. I have also had the opportunity to talk to some residents there and they seem so happy. One thing I love is when the seniors are treated with dignity and respect. This is the place.

I had no idea where I wanted to put my mom and this was the second person that came to visit. The staff here was absolutely amazing. My mother has never been as happy as you few years. She enjoys the people everyone here is really nice and friendly. The staff is very accommodating for her disability, and I have made sure all of her needs have been taken care of. My husband tripped over his feet at home, fell, and if my daughter hadn't been visiting, I would have needed outside help.
