Reviews for Fountain Court Assisted Living
Deeply Caring Staff, Well-Maintained
Fountain Court draws consistently high praise for its compassionate, attentive staff who treat residents like family. Reviewers repeatedly commend the Executive Director and numerous caregivers by name, highlighting excellent communication, cleanliness, and emotional support during difficult transitions and end-of-life care. However, a few reviewers note concerns about staffing turnover, occasional lapses when staff are busy, food quality declining at times, and pricing being high especially with add-ons. Some families found residents with dementia may need more intensive care than assisted living provides.
The staff at Fountain Court are really wonderful and I've taken great care of my brother over the last three years. Special shout out to Grace, the Resident Services Director, who goes above and beyond and Kyle, who expertly manages the front desk. Thanks to all of you! I can see you truly careabout the Residents !
My brother is moving into Fountain Court Senior Living. He'll be receiving care. It seems to be a friendly place, and it has a good menu for meals. They just seem to be doing everything well there. Gary was a nice person to deal with. He seems very helpful. We did have a meal, and we got a copy of the menu. The menu looks really, really good, and the food was good. The dining area was nice. After we made up our minds what we wanted to eat, we got our food right away, and we didn't have
I love this facility! They serve good food and kitchen staff are really nice and welcoming. All staff make the residents feel at home. Highly recommended!
Fountain Court Senior Living has truly exceeded our expectations. The community has a vibrant, uplifting feel while still maintaining a calm and comforting environment for residents. It is clear that thought and care have gone into creating a space that feels both elegant and home-like. What stood out most to us was the genuine dedication of the staff. They are attentive, professional, and incredibly compassionate. You can tell they truly care about the well-being of each resident and take prid
Courtney, the Executive Director at Fountain Court, is fantastic! Her leadership and dedication truly shine through in every aspect of the community. Highly recommend!
As a community partner and provider I can not say enough about how wonderful this community is! The leadership is fantastic. Courtney the Executive Director goes above and beyond for her residents and staff. You can tell the moment you walk into this building. You will feel the love 💕 keep up the good work!
Fountain Court Assisted Living should be your first and only stop if looking for an Assisted living in King County! Courtney, the Executive Director is an expert in the field!! Keep your eye on Fountain Court 💯
My 92-year-old mom was well taken care of at Fountain Court by staff who truly care about the residents who live there. Courtney (Executive Director) and Grace (Resident Service Director) have hired and trained kind, knowledgeable and attentive staff. My mom really enjoyed the care she received (for five years) and spoke highly of Gianna, Liberator, Anu, Semira, Megan and Kyle - to name just several caregivers that come to mind! The home environment of Fountain Court was always clean and tidy
The entire staff has been warm and welcoming to my mother as a new resident. Courtney has been above and beyond excellent with communication and handling my multiple questions and requests with patience and empathy. Highly recommend.
3years family member resident at Fountain Court Maple Valley WA. From Courtney Reifel the Executive Director to Cassi N. Kim T. and Kyle R; Whom I have had the pleasure of knowing for quite a while now… THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Front office Cassi.. kind conscience; Kim.. head chef and truly deserves the respectful title (given by me)… Delicious food presentation always. Kyle who manages outings for residents as well as indoor activities… Kudos Well done. You will not find a better place f
At the beginning of summer 2024, we realized mom should not be living alone. This felt very overwhelming. I prayed for God to show us what to do. We made short term arrangements for June and July to have one of us stay with mom every day while we figured out what to do long term. Moving her in with one of us (3 kids) was not an option as we all have full time jobs, 2 of us travel quite a bit, and I live in Phoenix. We toured a few assisted living places and group family homes. There was one that
I cannot begin to express my gratitude to the many wonderful caregivers in all roles at Fountain Court. Over the past year plus, the consistent love and caring that was given to my mom from day one of her residence at Fountain Court through her last day on earth means the world to myself and all her family. Anu, Semira, JeeJee, Megan, Delphinia, Gianna, Libby, Bobbi, Angie, Merci, Toa, Leo, Amos, Scholastica, Elvis, Taya, Rachel, Hannah, Cliff, Kim, Wanda, Randy, Kyle, Cassie, Grace, Wendy, Co
My father did not attend any activities, his choice. My Father needs to be told that he needs to shower, change clothes, get up and walk around and go outside. It seems like he needs more care than an Assisted living facility can provide due to his dementia. My sister was not happy with the fact Dad did not shower for 2 weeks. I understand that. Maybe an Adult Family home would be a better place for him. We are still looking at respite care for him.
Fountain court has had a lot of ups and downs. We've had difficulty with staff and the food has gone downhill. [name removed] who manages it is a dream and I know she's trying.
The building and grounds are kept up nicely. Most staff have been friendly and helpful. Especially [name removed], who I was extremely grateful for, not only for the genuine caring assistance she provided to my mom, and keeping me updated about my moms health and abilities but her compassion and thoughtfulness were truly appreciated in the last couple weeks of my mom's stay there, when things were emotionally hard.
We lived in a cottage. The washer and dryer were filthy. Washer torre our clothes, dryer had dirt and hard stuff in it that was hard and had to be soaked. Finally I went to the executive director and said she this is unacceptable. We got a new washer and dryer. The maintenance director didn't like that and they were going to put the old w/d in the main building for the residents!!! He installed the dryer incorrectly, pushing the dryer against the wall prevented the clothes from getting dry. I
The staff is soooo amazing! So friendly and fun! We love them. They seem really busy all the time so sometimes a few things slip here and there but they have high volume days so I am sure that's to be expected.
From the moment Courtney Reifel stepped into her role as the Executive Director for Fountain Court Assisted Living we knew that the residents would truly be cared for. It is is very clear that she takes to heart each and every resident's personal story and uniques need, and strives to go above and beyond to meet those needs. For Courtney it's not about filling a bed but rather, how can she assist in giving her residents a happy and vibrant life. Courtney looks at all of her residents as her o

Fountain court, and Courtney who is in charge there have been so amazing. We were left in a situation with my grand parents from another facility they were supposed to move into and 5 days before move in… they decried not to accept them any longer. With them having to be out of their current apartment by a certain date, Courtney has been an angel and is making foundation court work out. Everything happens for a reason and I believe they will be more taken care of and in a better situation here.
We are tremendously appreciative of the staff at Fountain Court. They are incredibly attentive and responsive to my loved ones needs and concerns when they arise. They’ve worked hard to make our loved ones. Transition from independently to senior living as smooth as possible.
I toured Fountain Court Senior Living. It's nice that I have my house. I have my privacy. If I choose to go have meals, I can do that. If I want to cook, I have a full kitchen. It's like a little house rather than an apartment. So it's more private, more secluded. We have three meals a day. We just walk a short way over to the building for our entertainment, exercise, meals, etc. They have many more activities. Something going on like four days a week for shopping to many differen
I recently visited this community and took a tour. The staff was very friendly and it really has a homie feel. I wish I would have found this place when we looked for my sister! Trustworthy and caring! The outdoor living space is so peaceful and relaxing!
I toured Fountain Court Senior Living. I was impressed with the cleanliness, the friendliness of the staff, and the happiness of the people who were there. The rooms were decent. They weren't as nice as the other places. The dining area was nice. The food seemed alright and pretty basic. For activities, they had certain activities where they would take the seniors out at different times of the day. They had basic activities such as live music and whatnot in the center. The staff were very a
My friend likes it here. The meal was well seasoned.
My experience with fountain court was great. Their staff is extremely gentle, caring and patient. When I first brought my father into Fountain Court I was relieved at the cleanliness of the facility. During my fathers stay I noticed that the staff was patient and thorough with my father. The staff goes out of their way to be helpful and available for their residents. When my father was not feeling well enough to go to the dining hall they would bring his food to his room. They cared for my

The facility and staff at Fountain Court are great, everyone has been very friendly.
I would recommend Fountain Court. Their prices are high, especially with all the add-ons, but they might have standard prices when compared to other places - I haven't checked. I think their staff is great, though there seems to be a high turnover.
Fountain Court Senior Living was really good. It was very clean. It sits on a nice little walking path. The studio was nice. They had a very large selection of activities of what they do. They had a library and I saw a sign up sheet for a visit to the Seattle Aquarium, which they were doing. There's literally activities every day for people to do. They're just getting ready to do some remodeling. Some of the facilities were looking a little tired, but they were getting ready to do some
This tour did not go well as they did not get the communication from a Place For Mom that told them I had an appointment. A person there kindly showed me around, but then said they didn't have any rooms available
My overall tour experience at Fountain Court Senior Living was great. It was informative, and they're very cordial. My brother had actually been there five years ago, and they welcomed him back, so it's great. They're knowledgeable. They showed me a room, and it was nice and clean. Luckily, it was a corner unit so it had two windows and great views. It seemed perfect; it was a studio apartment. The dining area looked good, too; the food and the menu all looked really good. They ha
My wife and I are moving into Fountain Court Senior Living. The people are just awesome and they're very friendly. The price was really good, too and it was pretty much lower than any of the other ones. It's a small community and it's what we wanted. It's in Maple Valley, one of the nicest, one of the best, and one of the safest places in Washington. My mom loved the flowers there. They got a lot of activities and I like the location. I was with my brother and my mom when I
I was impressed with this facility. The facility was very clean and comfortable. A beautiful setting.
My visit to Fountain Court Senior Living was good. The staff members were very pleasant and informative. The place is twenty years old. It seemed clean. The rooms that I saw were sufficient. It was close to family and to where we live, so that's why we checked that one out. We saw the front when we walked in, and it was well maintained. They had a courtyard.
We toured during Covid, so they wouldn’t let us in the main building. They just showed us an apartment. So it was very difficult to judge what was going on there. We didn't like that our loved one would have to walk over and get his own meals to carry back to his apartment. It definitely felt like assisted living, whereas where we ended up felt like truly independent living. Revel just didn’t have as many amenities / activities / ways to get people involved.
We were able to visit Fountain Court Senior Living, and it's quite adequate for our needs. We really liked it. We were able to look at the independent living side of the place. My first impression was that it's very nice. It was not a huge institutional-looking building. The independent living facilities are duplex cottages, and I like the idea that they had a little one car garage. It was a very nice facility. Sarah showed us around. I think she was kind of inexperienced, but that wor
We are moving my mom into Fountain Court. So far, I'm totally impressed with it. The people and the facility are extremely nice. It's clean, nice, and quiet. It's close to everything, yet it's off the main highway. It's quiet, and it's right between my home and my work, so it's perfect for me. The rooms are small but very clean and nice. The staff members are very pleasant and very nice people, too.

This community is average compared to other communities that I have experienced in the area. They are not exceptional. The food was great and offered a good variety. We chose this community because my parents wanted to live in the cottages in independent living .
My mother stayed here before she passed. I have to say, I wasn’t a fan of senior living facilities by any means. However, I became one. From the time we had our tour until her homecoming, they were truly family. Every time I would visit her she would tell me how the staff there treated her like royalty. I was surprised because my mother was one tough lady. But I am so thankful for all of the staff from the cooks who made her amazing food, activities director, the CNA’s, and all of you who played
The facility is warm, clean, inviting , and life-giving. They have fiercely protected their residents from COVID19! I am so very thankful Mom lives at Fountain Court now. She turns 90 soon and calls this her happy place!

Nice but woods just outside by the community area. Doors are not secured during the day. Nice rooms
Great place to have your loved ones. Kind and caring - passionate staff.
Our mom has been in Fountain Court for almost 4 months and she loves it. She was very anxious and stressed to go into assisted living and the staff here were so helpful that she was fully adapted and in a routine within 1 week. Excellent staff, super clean, excellent food and in a very serene place.
Our mom is 84 and was very resistant to leaving her house. The staff at Founrain court are excellent and they made great efforts to welcome her and make her feel comfortable. The staff helped her meet friends and made sure that her first weeks were seemless. She. Law raves about the food, has a set schedule and has met friends.
Look nice. The cottages look really good. I would like pricing. It's a little far away from me but worth looking at.
Best place ever! Wonderful staff!
From the warm glow of the living room fire to the cheerful laughter of the resident's enjoying a gormet home cooked meal in their resturant style dinning room,Fountain Court allows for your loved one to not only feel cared for, and comfortable, with it's cozy library, and numerous daily activites, social gathering, and caring 24/7 staff.Fountain Court is a safe haven for all the resident's to happily call home! I highly recommended you take the free lunch tour with or without your loved one to che

This facility is amazing! The staff are always welcoming and friendly when I go in. Always clean and really a beautiful community. Would recommend to anyone!
The building is clean, staff is friendly, and they really know how to take care of seniors. They treated my mom like she was family and never missed a beat. They caught things I would never have caught! Definitely look into this community if you’re into the Maple Valley area!
This community is one of the most welcoming and clean communities I have ever visited. I have never been treated so well.
Fountain Court has a very nice setting and is very clean. However, they didn't have any vacancies. The staff was very nice and very helpful. The dining area was very nice. Their menu was much better than where we're at now. When we were there, there were people sitting around and reading the paper, and a few of them were watching TV. They did have activities scheduled on their activity calendar. They have something going on seven times a week.
The place might look nice and some staffs are actually friendly, but the problem is, Bad communication, don't except they will call, return your call or update you for anything, you need to follow up with them for every single thing. They do accept pets, but when we went to visit the first time, you can tell the hallway smells really bad, its just like dogs pee everywhere, they told us that they will clean the smells, but it never happened when we return to visit in a week... We end up go with o
Nice Community.

Fountain court is one of the most welcoming communities I've ever been in. The people there are above reproach. Good food, clean building, Hometown atmosphere, and people who actually care. But don't take my word, check it out for yourself!
Great place but we can get the same care at the place we are at.
Fountain Court Senior Living is a nice place. They were fine. At the time, I needed full memory care, and they didn't have memory care, and they're a little expensive. The rooms are fine, and the staff is great. It's a nice place. The best thing is accessibility because it's close to my house.
My aunt loves the staff and I have had great interactions with them. They are willing to help with whatever we need. The community is clean and well taken care of. She says she likes the food. She participates in some of the activities offered.
My mother is doing pretty good at Fountain Court. The food is fine, she says it varies day to day. They do quite a few activities. I would say there are quite a few people there with dementia.
My grandma moved from a very nice retirement home in ohio. But she wanted to be closer to home so she moved to this little retirement home in Maple Valley Washington. It is in a very nice location and close to store that many of the residents walk through. I went inside and it was nicely decorated and had very nice employees. They were helpful and it seemed that they really cared about their patients. Overall i was impressed with the Facility
We were impressed with Fountain Court. It's in a good location, nice rooms, and we're planning on taking my mom there, but unfortunately she passed away before we can get her there. They had a nice lobby and a nice outside area. Maybe they need to have always someone at the main desk, because sometimes I had to wait for someone to come and help me.
