Island House is a cozy and comfortable community on Mercer Island! I am happy that my mother is a resident here. My feeling is that administration and staff are warm and try to ensure that the residents are well taken care of. The location is convenient for the residents, and I think they do provide adequate wellness activities for the residents. I would like to highlight Juliet and Wilson. Both have been very responsive to my questions and have helped my mother ease into her new community. Juli

I love how everyone fits here at Island House! Dining experience has been good especially with having our Server Alina apart of it with her smile and generosity. Ayzhiel at the front desk and she is a full serviced carried young woman who is very helpful and caring. She always has a pleasant smile and can help in any situation. Island is an amazing place and I have never thought I would be as comfortable and happy as i am today. The social life is the best!!!

The staff at the Island House is above reproach. I want to say that Alina Veselova is very kind, considered and efficient. I know Erin for a long time and she very appreciable and pleasant to help. I have lived here for 4 years and I know all of servers are as vell as the all caregivers. I'm very vell acquaited with of all aspects of Island House. They talke very good care of all persons here.

I recently had the pleasure of being hired as a musician for an event at Island House Assisted Living, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. When I first come here I was welcomed by every one, but one woman was the nicest to me and always does she always welcomes me with a wide smile and always looks beautiful. She really makes my day sometimes she’s still as sweet as she was a year ago and made me like this place so much more. Her name is Alina Veselova. We recently found Island House Assisted Living on Mercer Island for a family member. [name removed] the representative who helped us went beyond herself proving us with professional and informative care. So far everything about Island House has lived up to our expectations which is such a relief. The team at Island house led by [name removed], continue to provide a wonderful living environment for our family member for which we are extremely grateful.

I toured Island House, and they have an excellent program and a beautiful facility. The people were nice and they had a lot of extras. The staff was wonderful.

There is such real kindness here. After spending several years as an invalid at home with some help, a fall incapacitated me even further with a bad ankle break. My parents were hesitant to move into an assisted living facility. They knew they needed help but it was also important for them to have independence. They had outdated ideas of what assisted living was. The Island House has changed all of that and has far exceeded all expectations. My parents couldn’t be happier! The staff are pleasant but they seem spread too thin. The facility has nice parts (the living room) and parts that seem old and tired (lobby, elevator, halls). The food seems ok, not great. I think they have had alot of turn over in the kitchen.

My stepdad will be moving into Island House. We toured it three different times. Living in a place on Mercer Island is the first priority for him. It's just a lot more comfortable to me compared to the other place that we looked at. It just had the right feeling to it, and very nice people. We enjoyed going through it. The person who was leading us through the process died suddenly, which was a huge shock. So, part of my problem with this is that the person that we were dealing with before

I would recommend to them to others. They are very accommodating but it is not cheap. I looked at another community, but decided that island house was a better fit. We did just lose our activities director so we will see.

The staff at Island House are very accommodating and friendly. They are not overbearing and they allow the residents to have the amount of independence that they need/desire.

Island House is a very friendly and safe community. All of the staff members know me by name and always check in on me and make sure everything is going well. It is always a difficult decision and transition leaving the comforts of your own home but they have made the process very easy, they have made me feel welcomed and comfortable. I would recommend this community to other families.

My mom said everything is going well here and everybody is happy to be here. The people are very nice and it is a clean facility. She said that food is good and she has nothing but positive feedback. They go to exercise classes and have been participating in some activities. They do have transportation once a week so it would be nice if they could offer that a little more often. I would recommend to others looking.

Things have been very good so far. The only issue we've had is my mother-in-law moved over a holiday so there wasn't an initial introduction with the directors. She's gone to the new resident introduction and watches movies. The food is great! The housekeeping came in last week. They were very thorough and even cleaned her towels.

What a wonderful community, It was our first visit on the list of communities that we plan to visit. The staff was very friendly and answered all our questions thoroughly. Overall appearance was excellent and the homey feeling you received the minute you walked through the door was wonderful, two thumbs up!

The residents were very friendly on our first visit. Very clean, open pleasant public areas. Nice to have private washer & dryer in each unit.
