Reviews for Aegis Senior Inn of Redmond
Exceptional Care, Compassionate Staff
Aegis Redmond earns overwhelmingly positive reviews for its compassionate, attentive staff who treat residents with dignity and genuine warmth. Families consistently praise the personalized care, excellent communication, robust activities program, and home-like atmosphere that eases difficult transitions. The only criticisms mention high cost, occasional lost clothing items, and limited visitor parking—minor issues against a backdrop of exceptional memory care and end-of-life support.
The only negative might be the size but for my brother this was a plus. The location is perfect for my brother, right on the walking path he has walked for 25 years. The feeling of a home and family is what stood out. My brother spoke about it just feeling like a home after our visit. Also, the sense of dignity they offer their residents. They have a bus stop they can use for waiting if residents think they need to go to work.
It was a difficult decision to uproot my 92 year old mom and move her to Washington from Louisiana to be close to me. When I first visited Aegis Redmond, I got a good feeling about it and looked no further, but still had doubts about whether I was making the right decision for her. My mother was initially at Aegis in the assisted living apartments. It was very comfortable and we were able to furnish her apartment with many of her own things, which she appreciated. Although she had early stages
Staff are very friendly and do their best to engage the resident, although not always successful due to nature of their diseases. They are taking really good care of her diabetes.
Overall it's been a good experience. My parents aren't big joiners so they don't do a lot of the activities. The food is moderate as reported by mom. Dad likes it. They accommodate his Celiacs. They are pretty good with the catheter bag changes morning and evening unless it's a new person that needs a little education
I love being apart of the Aegis Living community in Redmond. This is a community that feels like home, that always seems to provide a welcoming environment in all settings. I admire our Care staff members attention to the residents and care they provide in a fast passed environment.
This facility is well-maintained and homey, the food is very good and the people on the staff are fine representatives for the Aegis brand. Concierges are friendly and helpful, nurses are alert and thorough, and caregivers are kind and gentle with the residents. Across the board, Aegis staff treat the residents with care and respect, they work hard to engage the residents with activities and entertainment and they keep families informed and involved.
We moved our 88 year old mother into Aegis of Redmond's Memory Care Unit over a year ago and we are very happy with our choice! General Manager Ebrima Gomez has done an excellent job building and leading a dedicated & compassionate care / nursing staff at this facility. Mr. Gomez and his staff have been very adaptive to our mother's changing needs and communicate consistently with my family -whenever there are concerns. My family frequently visits our mother and have observed her enjoying wond
My mom is almost 97 and requires increasing assistance and care. I hear when she needs something (e.g., recliner, hospital bed) and am confident that she is receiving good care. I especially like that a Nurse Practitioner comes to the facility instead of having to take her to appointments.
Overall Aegis of Redmond is a nice facility. It is pretty expensive. They seem to lose a lot of personal clothing items. The visitor parking is limited.
I decided on Aegis of Redmond upon getting several recommendations when my mom needed more help than I could give her. I was so happy with every aspect of Aegis - all of the care people, the director (Amanda) who was so friendly, warm and helpful, the spacious room that my mom stayed in, the view of the river, the food that was specially prepared for my mom as her condition changed and the numerous informative communications letting me know what was happening at each stage of her decline. I was
