Reviews for Overlake Terrace
Warm Care, Operational Hiccups
Overlake Terrace earns consistently strong praise for its caring, attentive staff—particularly Memory Care Director Rebecca—and excellent food quality. Families appreciate the wide variety of activities, clean facilities, and welcoming atmosphere that helps residents feel at home. However, several reviews note recurring operational issues: staff turnover (especially activities directors and chefs), persistent laundry problems, challenging communication with office/nursing staff, and occasional gaps between promised services and delivery.
Our father was a resident at Overlake Terrace for three and a half years, which were perhaps the best of his last twenty. Overlake Terrace provided him with a safe, clean, and healthy environment where he felt truly at home. He consistently complimented the housekeeping services and, as a lifelong "foodie," he loved the kitchen staff and the quality of every meal. The staff was patient, kind, and competent, and the social events were a constant highlight for him. He especially enjoyed watching
Great staff, clean facility and met our needs for a short term stay.
The caretakers are kind and very professional. More menu choices would be nice.
The staff are great. Food is fine-my mom likes it. Apartments are larger than other places we looked. The nurse and office personnel have been hard to communicate with. I can't get answers to questions. Especially about prices and billing. Her laundry keeps getting lost.
On behalf of a current resident's family - My mother has been living at Overlake Terrace Senior Living for almost a year now. She has severe memory loss, dementia, and needs a lot of care. Overlake Terrace Memory Care is providing the excellent care that my mother needs and deserves. I know from experience as Mom has previously been in two memory care facilities. It’s a comfort to me that all the staff, from the Memory Care director Rebecca, the Life Enrichment Director Livy, and all the attend
My father has lived in memory care for years now. When Rebecca Patrick was hired as Director of Memory Care, there were great changes that both my brother and I appreciated. Ms. Patrick really cares about the residents and feels at home with the elderly. It was wonderful to see new various activities taking place in memory care. I think the visits with dogs have been a tremendous hit with the residents and the staff. Some residents see engaged and happy to pet the dogs. Glad that is an ongoing e
It is difficult to give an entirely positive review for a place such as this because the expectations that I have for them to take care of my loved one are so high. We all would like these places to take care of our loved ones as we would, but care facilities are staffed with employees doing a job, rather than our own family members. Rebecca, the Memory Care Director, is an exception to the norm. She consistently goes above and beyond to take care of the residents. She has a very hands on approa
Since my dad moved to memory care several years ago, he has been cared for in a consistently good way. He has required more care as his Alzheimer’s progressed and the staff has been up to the task. I appreciate all their efforts to care for him.
We toured Overlake Terrace. I liked it. The location was nice. I went with my sister and met the gals there, and they were nice. The rooms and the place were nice. I enjoyed the tour. It was very neat. The location took me a while to figure out, but I live in Redmond, so it's not out of the way. It was just tucked in there around Microsoft. So, it was very nice and modern.
We have moved my mother-in-law into Overlake Terrace memory care center earlier this year. Our transition to this level of care came as an emergency situation and we were so lucky and grateful to have been directed to this facility. We had staff working on our case immediately and moved the process along at a quick pace to get the transfer of care in a gentle but well-coordinated effort. Her care has been exemplary, and staff has been kind and gracious in their care. The program director obv
The staff is excellent, they have good facilities, it's not really set up for someone with [name removed] level of disability.
I toured Overlake Terrace. They offer quite a bit of other activities besides just a room and a place to eat. They provided the care that we are anticipating. They have a recreation room. When we were there, they had someone who came in and played some music for the folks. They have a little coffee shop bar, a theater room for movies, a pool table, and a library. It was very clean-looking. It looked like it had been renovated over the last four or five years, or maybe six years somewhere in ther
We are so thankful for the care our mom received at Overlake Terrace. The facilities are beautiful and well maintained. The staff is top notch and very attentive. We would recommend OT to anyone looking for short term or long term care for your loved one!!
We toured Overlake Terrace. The person who gave the tour was new and she was lovely. I could never live in one of those tiny rooms unless you can afford a two-bedroom, which we have. They don't have a swimming pool, and the other ones do. The food was good.
I visited Overlake Terrace. The facility director was wonderful. I was impressed. I'd probably give the facility itself a five and up because it was very nice. The memory care portion was a little bit dull and dreary looking, but the non-memory care looked very nice and inviting. I would advise that they do something about the memory care level. It looked like a prison. They need to either bring more light in or color or just something very vibrant. It's all in one building. I did fin
The staff is caring and people are welcoming. There is quite a bit of turnover in staff. I would recommend.
She's done really great there. We're very happy. It is a much better experience than her previous facility. Very friendly staff. Great help and assistance. Love all the activities. Very easy to get involved and make friends.
I have toured many places and finally decided to pick this place. The staff smiles and greets my mom and me by name. It feels like coming home not moving in to a big place. Leadership has all come to introduce themselves and each one has taken the time to really get to know mom so we feel like we a part of a big family. Every Friday there’s been some music groups for her to listen to. The other people who live there are just the sweetest people and some have even tried to come ask her to join th
What you read about is not what you get in memory care here . No activities , laundry lost and occasionally not done . Management is not receptive to family concerns. Once a loved one is in a facility it is hard to move them.
I was able to have an in person tour with Overlake Terrace and I found the tour experience to be pleasant and informative. This community was my second choice.
We went to look at Overlake Terrace. We liked being able to see the rooms. We liked being able to have the option to have a meal there, which we didn't have time to do. We liked seeing all the different amenities that they have, and appreciated all the information that we were given about prices and how to gauge additional costs if the assisted living portion is needed. Their memory care is on a different floor, but the independent and assisted living rooms are the same. They were very resp
Overlake Terrace was phenomenal. The staff and the director were phenomenal. I was high praises for that place. It was so well run and super clean. The amenities were top-notch. They had so much going on in that place. That was my number one pick for my parents. It was close to all the doctors. There are hospitals right there. The only reason we did not choose them was the room was not big enough. They had two bedrooms and one bath, but it was too pricy. When my mom and dad need the memory care
5 stars for each category! My mom is very happy at Overlake Terrace. We chose this facility because the opportunities to meet new friends were far better than her previous facility and it was considerably cheaper but not sacrificing any quality of care. Location was also better for family. Everyone has been extremely helpful, they have tons of activities provided for the residents, and the dining room is wonderful.
an attractive place but the meals are awful, not much fresh fruit and or vegetables, lots of greasy food, breaded food, heavy sauces, overly spiced sauces, overall poor nutrition, they advertise 'chefs' not suitable food for seniors. Also some of the staff is quite snotty
We toured Overlake Terrace. The rooms were larger than what my mom could afford for her price point. You could eat in their restaurant all day long. You could go in and order a meal anytime. It wasn't so structured that you had to go at this time to get a meal. They have a list of what you can order. They have your typical three meals a day, but if you wanted five meals a day, they would charge you extra for it. The person who gave us the tour was very friendly, very knowledgeable, very eng
Overlake Terrace has just been very welcoming and accommodating. They've been easy to work with. And our family member loves it there. He feels very welcome - the staff always call him by name and make an effort to help him feel included. He likes the independence he has along with the assistance that he needs. Our family likes that he can stay where he's at as his needs change. But in the meantime, he's able to have a lot of independence.
Initially everything was good. Unfortunately they have had a lot of turnover. Lost their Activities Director (hasn't been replaced), have lost 3 chefs (supposedly this last one is decent), just replaced their Manager (new one seems good, old one was not friendly). My Mother complains that there is not a lot to do and they don't have a driver to get them around. Don't know if other sites are having similar manning issues or not. . .
I toured the whole facility of Overlake Terrace, it was fantastic. When I walked in, it was just clean and smelled clean and crisp. You walk into a bistro where there was an older aging company sitting and having tea and visiting. There were activities for the residents. This place was nice. They had a theater, an exercise room, they had an outside yard for memory care that had trails and a gazebo for visiting, and flowers. The staff was excellent. We mostly dealt with Seri and Julie, the nurse,
Overlake Terrace was pretty good. It wasn't brand new, but it turned out that that was part of what we liked about it, that it had some history. The memory unit was all remodeled and looked quite good and quite homey. It was larger than the others we looked at. The people who helped us were very knowledgeable, especially after we got through the marketing person. We also liked the rooms, because they had their own bathrooms. We observed activities like painting and doing things together. Th
Our family had an in person tour and it was a really good tour, but it was just in a busier location and the layouts they had available just were not going to work out for our loved one
I love it and my parents do as well. The only issue we have had is the medication issue. I think its not facility issue versus state requirements possibly creating issues. They have a lot of activities. They get the residents out and about in the community. The food is great, they loved the food. The staff is wonderful, they know everyone by name. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I am very pleased with the choice my husband and I made bringing my parents to Overlake Terrace.
The meals sometimes are a hit or miss, but so far it has been a good experience. We really like the staff and everything we have seen so far at this community. They treat our loved one so well which is most important. Every time they come to visit the greet us with a big smile, they make us feel very comfortable and it is like family.
I chose this place because it is so spacious, clean, bright, and cheery. The staff are awesome, always on top of any issues. Everyone is kind and smiling. Pricing equal to other places.
Our family was able to have an in person tour and we really did like this facility. It was in a great location, and everyone we met with was nice, gracious and did a good job showing us around. We really did enjoy the tour, but out of the other 4 communities we looked at, this was probably our least favorite.
They are excellent at this community. I was very impressed with the service and friendliness that me and my loved ones received. They took their time to help us and make sure we know everything that we need to know. I was very pleased with everyone I met.
Overlake Terrace was gorgeous. It was well maintained and newly renovated. The staff who assisted me was wonderful. She showed me everything and answered all my questions. I need senior care, I want to go there. The menu was wonderful. I did not try the food, but it smelled good. There were people having fun. They're happy people. They have bingo. The rooms were clean and newly renovated. They included a refrigerator. I saw a microwave, shelves, and a closet. I looked at the studio, one-b
We looked at Overlake Terrace. It was a very nice place. The staff was caring, attentive, and friendly. We toured a 2-bedroom-2-bath, and it was too small. They have some nice public spaces, and they were nice and roomy. I loved everything there, but the apartments were small. It's a nice place to live and it's a caring community.
I toured Overlake Terrace, and I liked seeing people out in the lobby using the facilities. I also liked the location. It seemed more updated. The person who gave us the tour was well informed. They have a crafts room too.
The staff are engaging and check on the residents regularly. They do a good job in encouraging, but not pushy with the residents to participate in activities. They have a good food menu. There is a lot for the residents to choose from. The nursing care is hard to get ahold or get in touch with them. The buy in option was very reasonable for the community.
The activities at Overlake Terrace would be a five plus, they had happy hour, bingo, music, and pool tables. They have a place for you the exercise and have movie night. There were a bunch of things offered if you wanted to participate. The food is what brought us back to this community a lot. Our loved one was a chef and he was very picky and he thought it was outstanding. They offered a lot of variety.
A amazing, caring, friendly and helpful place for Seniors. My mother is happy and loves the food they serve.
Overlake Terrace is a wonderful place to live. Best staff, activities, food and value one can find anywhere!
Overlake Terrace is a great facility. My mother is doing as well as can be expected. I would recommend them. The food is fantastic. I had lasagna with fresh spinach, shrimp Caesar's salad, and caramel sauce cinnamon bread pudding for dessert. They have different activities and groups. They have a movie room, a hair salon, workout facilities, reading groups, and concerts.
Overlake Terrace has good features and has lots of events going on all the time. They have people that come if you press the button because we're worried about my mother falling. The food is very good. She seems to like it and she's satisfied with it. They have concerts in the library and movies every night. She gets help with showering. She's pretty content and she's safe there. Parking is a little difficult sometimes, but the inside of the building and the grounds are very
[Name removed] was incredibly patient, answering all of our questions, giving us a thorough tour, and inviting us to stay and enjoy a very good dinner with them.
Oak Park Retirement was very nice. The lady who gave me the tour was excellent. However, it appears to be 99% assisted living even though it advertised as independent living. The apartments were nice, and they were larger than some other places, with nice window space. Everything about it was really comfortable-looking all the way around except that there were very few independent living people there. Lunch was acceptable.
clean, spacious, newly remodeled. the lobby felt welcoming, reminds me of a hotel lobby. Bistro with seating area and residents engaged in game table. friendly staff
We toured Overlake Terrace. They're very good. The amenities were very nice. It's a very well laid out facility. It's nestled in the Microsoft buildings in Redmond. However, it didn't have a walking area, and it's an enclosed community. I do a lot of walking and I need an area where I can go out and walk without being accosted by people, but it's a very nice facility. That's one of our favorites so far. The apartments were very nice. The two-bedroom unit was ve
Care staff is good. Management continues to decline. They are horrid at communication. Lots of focus on fixing the place up and less interest in care for residents. Huge staff turnover and dismal response times to resident buzzers. Run away!
I have lived at Overlake Terrace for several years. I love the activities we do! I recently acted in a rendition Guys and Dolls- that was so fun! I also love the outings and playing games.
I visited Overlake Terrace last week to visit a friend of mine who had moved there last year. My heart was full as she shared with me how happy she was to live there and about all of the friends she has made. The restaurant served us a delightful lunch and the staff was smiley and friendly.
The representative who showed me around was great and very helpful. Rooms were very nice, as was dining room. I cannot speak about the food or staff because I didn't have much interaction and did not eat the food. Overlake was out of my mom's price range, and was a bit too formal for my mother, but even so, I thought it was a very nice place, and clean (especially compared to some other facilities I've seen).
There is a new director and management staff and it seems they are trying to make more money. They cut staff and now the caregivers in memory care serve meals, bus tables and sweep the floor. Obviously this takes them away from their primary tasks of taking care of the residents. There used to be fun active activities every day after lunch. That is no longer the case. The laundry doesn't get picked up as scheduled. I have complained about this multiple times. I spoke with the new director a
This place isn't very good. There is a new director and they are trying to make more money. They cut staff and now you can only go to the doctor on one day. There aren't as many outings. The heat was out and nothing but cold water for 4 days. They run out of the main dinner if you don't get there really early. The helpers don't all know what their doing. You wait a long time for them to come help you. Like more than an hour. The old people there are mad but the director lady
Too big. My mother would be overwhelmed. [Removed] offered her a room very near the receptionist and dining room, but the vastly changing sea of new faces would overwhelm her here.
My experience working at Overlake Terrace has been excellent. The staff is very friendly and are always helpful
We are thrilled that my mother-in-law has moved into Overlake Terrace. Everyone is so friendly, welcoming, and nice; the ladies in the front, the director, the chef, everyone. When we first moved her in, there were some small miscommunications during the transition. We had a meeting, and everything is running smoothly now. The food is wonderful, the portions are on the small side, but I feel they are perfect for the population that they’re serving. They offer a lot of activities like outings,
Very impressed with this place. This would have been my first choice but my in-laws felt like it might be too large of a community for their liking. Staff was very professional from the time we walked in the door. You can tell the residents (and employees!) here are happy and engaged. Very impressed with [Removed], the Family Advisor. Even when she knew we wouldn't be moving in to their community, she reached out to let me know she'd still be happy to help, answer any questions, etc. Very well
Overlake Terrace has grown as a community in the two years that I have been here. It is a place where you will find some of the best care staff, wonderful activities, and friendly people. There is alway a fun activity happening, and the staff is always taking suggestions for outing and new group activities and games. Our Memory Care team is the best at taking care of our MC residents, making sure they stay clean and are having fun! The management team has invested in the staff and hired the
Two years ago, my wife, Ruth, and I came to Overlake Terrace from Mesa, AZ. Ruth passed away in February. We can't thank Overlake Terrace for their loving care and going the extra mile to help us thru these painful times. It is these actions why we agreed Overlake Terrace will always be our home.
This community is experiencing a management transition. Right now, the care is sub-optimal. Sometimes assistance is quick and competent, sometimes it is slow and incompetent. Your loved one may wait over an hour for assistance after calling for help, not good if they need help to the bathroom or getting out of bed in the morning. Food is spotty, sometimes good, sometimes not. For example, one of two dinner specials was a "grilled vegetable sandwich", where the vegetables were 95% iceb
2 years ago my wife, [Removed] and I came to Over lake Terrace from Mesa, AZ, [Removed] passed away. We can never thank Over lake Terrace enough for the loving care and going the extra mile to help us during through these painful times. It is these type of actions that we agreed Over lake Terrace will always be our home.
Overlake Terrace has taken care of my grandmother for almost five years now. I have to say that these caring employees have truly stepped up to plate time and time again when my grandmother was in need. I would like to say thank you. It makes me feel good when people care for other people the way they do at this facility.
This is a larger facility with what appeared to me as an active and engaged resident population. We did not choose for our family based on the size but I felt it would be a good fit for someone looking for a larger, independent facility. Location was great and near lots of restaurants and amenities. I chatted with quite a few residents in the lobby who had great things to say about their home and also said the food was very good. The apartments were nice and large. They have lots of on-site ameni
The food is good and they offer a variety of choices. The staff have been nice and helpful. The community is clean and they keep the grounds well maintained. I have started participating in some of the daily activities. I would recommend this community.
We have money down on a room in Overlake Terrace. As soon as my father-in-law says, ‘Yes, let’s move,’ we’ll move him in there. The only thing he doesn’t like is that he walks in and there’s a lot of people in wheelchairs, so he doesn’t feel he is ready for that. Otherwise, it is a very beautiful facility. They offer quite a few activities in other rooms, but I did not go over the activity completely. Dining was very nice and very comfortable feeling.
I like the care that my mom is getting here. The staff is very friendly and caring. They have nice activities , but my mom can not participate with others. The community is nice and very clean. I recommend this community for great care to others
Met with Rob and toured the facility Saturday morning with my family. Very clean with lots of activities scheduled through the day. Dining room was large. Pleased with the amenities and will continue to consider this as a good choice.
Overlake Terrace is where my dad resides right now. They have a new executive director, and he does a great job. I think the rooms are clean, and the med techs are very confident and always on top of things. When we left him there -- even though it’s private pay because the Medicaid spend down for those who accept Medicaid -- they charge you a lot more during two year or three year spend down window. and when you cost it out on a spreadsheet it just made more sense to keep him at Overlake Terrac
My folks moved in two weeks ago, so far I like everything I've seen. There seems to be lots of activities for them to either join in on, or watch. They are rarely in their rooms during the day, because they are out where activity is happening. Their room is clean and the beds are made. I see lots of staff on hand to assist when and where needed. My parents are in the memory care unit.
The staff made it very easy to make the transition to assisted living . Everyone is very friendly and helpful. We are pleased to see the full level of care and service they receive. The food is great, the activities are varied and fun, and our parents are enjoyed.
I am a satisfied resident, no complains.
Very nice place. My sister lived here before. I was living in different places and this one is very nice. Everyone is very good here. I would recommend Overtake Terrace to anyone.
I think it's a great place to be. All of our needs been met. So many activities and so many things to do here. I love the staff, they always smile and I feel great. It's absolutely great place.
It's a pleasant and courtiers community. There are a lot of good residents here, very friendly. So many activities from pool table to ...you name it. My wife and I live here for 2 years and very happy.
I've been here for six and a half years. I really like my stay here. I like the personnel and the other residents. Good entertainment. I would certainly recommend Overlake Terrace to others. I am very happy here.
Overlake Terrace was a nice facility, the rooms were nice, and the staff was very helpful. The dining area was fine. The location was good, and the price was what we expected it to be. The environment was good.
I really enjoyed my tour of this facility. This community looks amazing. From what I saw everything looked outstanding and very well maintained. The staff was welcoming and friendly. They have a great work out room. The dining area looked very nice. It was a very nice tour.
My mom lives in Overlake Terrace. The grounds are very nice, and the area is nice and woody. The staff is very nice. The residents seem to be very happy, and the food was decent at the start but all that has changed. They cut down all the trees, and they're putting up a giant hotel next to it. They serve peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for dinner because they run out of food. The staff is still nice. A couple of them are left, but turnover is large. Med techs quit often without notice.
My brother moved into this community in May, we were told his apartment would be ready in a few weeks but he is still in his small room instead. Based off of communication my brother seems to be quiet satisfied with his care. He was a little disappointed with the size of his room. Overall he is pretty happy here and we cant only wait till his apartment is ready.
I like the staff at Overlake Terrace, and the place is very nice and spacious. My husband is in the memory care unit. The staff is very knowledgeable and nice, and they treat him and all their patients very well. They have an activities director there and have a lot going on during the day, like crafts, brain games, exercises, and the usual things they do in the memory care unit. They have excellent food, and the residents seem very happy with it.
The staff made it very easy to make the transition to assisted living. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. We are pleased to see the full level of care and service they receive. The food is great, the activities are varied and fun. Our parents are engaged.
Overlake Terrace didn't smell like a hospital. it smelled like fresh linens, and pines trees. When I came in, they had my name on the board, and that was very nice. The staff told me I could have coffee, cookies, and she was very welcoming. The residents all looked very happy, and it seemed like they enjoy being there. They have an open space like a library with computers, a piano, and everything seemed open. The view was nice, and all the staff was friendly.
We like what we have here in Overlake Terrace. There are so many good things, but one thing we appreciate the most is that their servers and helpers are A-one plus. I had a husband that was in three nursing homes before he died and I’ve never seen anything like what they have in Overlake. And the other thing that I like about them is that the staff is excellent. The activities are over. We don’t go to too many of them because we like computers and to study the Bible, and so we’re mostly staying
An excellent retirement home. The accommodations are good. The food is great but the best of all are the members of the staff who are some of the kindest and most loving people I have ever met. I am so grateful for my cousins wife for finding this place for me to live when it became obvious that I could no longer live at home.
We lived at the Chateau at Bothell Landing prior to moving to Overlake Terrace .We moved because of shabby care in their Memory Care unit where my wife lives. Her care here is better and less expensive. On the other hand, I am in a smaller apartment and paying more. I do get three meals vs. two and the food and service is better, On average, I feel i made the right decision. A further advantage is that I am much closer to my two daughters and their families. I did file my list of grievances
What I like about Overlake Terrace is that the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They provide full care from independent living to memory care, so you won’t have to find another place if you need more care. I looked at a studio as well as a one-bedroom apartment, and they were very nice.
I appreciate the fine quality of care my aunt has received in the time she has been living here. The social programs have renewed her interest in life around her. Every person employed has been well-trained and professional.
Overlake Terrace was quite nice. You would have utilities with the price you would pay. You would have internet, parking, laundry service, and three meals a day. I could consider it as a primary resident. If someone would have that need or that requirement, I would certainly recommend it.
When I moved in to Overlake Terrace, my ailing husband was with me. He needed many services and we were treated most of the time with courtesy and concern. The dining facilities, room services, environment and responses to problems were taken care of very well. For the most part, I feel safe and relaxed in my surroundings.
I was impressed with Overlake Terrace from our first interview through moving mom and stepdad into their separate apartments. Transitional housing was wonderful for my stepfather's needs. The staff is amazing and very attentive. Independent housing is perfect for mom and she has met wonderful friends here! It is great!
Overlake Terrace that was very nice. We had a meal there, and we were shown apartments. The staff was very courteous and nice. They all have very good programs, and they have transportation. The dining room was better than the place I am in now. They had all kinds of games, puzzles, reading, and the Wii bowling game.
It's a home away from home. It's a bright and happy place. Employees from the cook, to meal servers, to house room servers, aids helpers, etc. are there for you. Meals are great from soups to desserts. You can ask for anything you like to eat. One feels so at home here. If you have been away a few days or week, wow what a welcome home you get.
My mother, aunt, and cousin live at Overlake Terrace. I cannot say enough good things about the staff that work there! They are amazing! Soher E.D., has done a fantastic job of picking out caring and competent staff. Marina -- the family advisor -- is always helpful in any area!
This facility feels like a home with warm, friendly, and efficient service. We are so happy to have mom in such a beautiful new home.
Very good and friendly staff. Good variety of food. It's clean.
When my loved one first moved in we had made arrangements for certain things to happen, that we were paying for, and some of them didn’t happen. That is my complaint, that things we had agreed on had not been provided. Things have been worked out now though. For the target population, I think the activities are good. Overall I think it’s a really good community and they do try really hard.
I have my mom in Overlake Terrace. The place is clean. They have very nice people, and the staff is friendly. The food is OK but not as good as we anticipated. The program that they offer seems to a good one for the condition that she has, and it fits our budget.
This place is a nightmare. Please do not put a loved one here. The care is horrible, food horrible, housekeeping a joke. Please go anywhere else!!!!
I had my wife at Overlake Terrace. I had her in there five hours a day for one week. I chose this place because it appeared to be the best. The place is great and the people are great.
Nice but very large. May be overwhelming for mom.
I visited this place once before. We had a friend living there. Nice place, and close to my office, too.
Our 2nd choice. Nice location, nice rooms, residents were happy. 2 months Respid stay, nice grounds.
I usually enjoy my time at Overlake Terrace. The facility is very clean and the front desk staff is welcoming, but the location is atop a steep hill that isn't always easy to access. The rooms are nicely furnished as well. The last time I was there with my great-grandma we had dinner together. I was able to order from the menu and the person serving us was especially helpful. The split-pea and ice cream dessert were superb, but portion size were lacking, at least for me. Sometimes the food
