Reviews for Aegis of Madison
Premium Care, Premium Price
Aegis Madison earns consistently glowing praise for its compassionate, responsive staff and high-quality care, particularly in memory care. Families highlight the warm atmosphere, modern facilities, excellent food, and strong communication during health changes. The primary drawback is cost—multiple reviewers note pricing is significantly higher than comparable facilities in the area, though most feel the premium is justified by the level of care and amenities provided.
I worked with Jennifer Nolan when learning about Aegis Madison. During that time, I had just become the caregiver for my grandmother who has dementia. She was attentive and responsive to all of my questions throughout the touring and interviewing process. Upon arrival, I got to know Tutti, Ali, Chuck, Judy, Tatyana, and Kevin who helped me out with all the logistics of getting a room ready to welcome my grandmother. The pricing has been transparent though it is on the costly side. Since brinin
Aegis Living Madison had absolutely stunning grounds. The building, the art, the different things around and such were very, very nice. They had a little movie theater and a lovely dining room. Anybody would enjoy living there. It was a beautiful facility. They have some lovely areas just to relax and chat or talk. I saw an interaction with someone who was leading a group in some kind of activity there. The food was very good, and the menu was impressive. The rooms that I was taken to see were v
We were really happy with Aegis on Madison. The food service is a challenge for all, but we were happy
We are so grateful to the Aegis Madison Team for their superb care and compassion the past few years. Moving my Mother-in-law from her Queens apartment (of close to 60 years as a resident!) to Seattle in 2021 during the height of Covid was scary. We soon discovered that her early onset dementia had progressed. The Aegis team worked with us to shift her to the memory care team, and she is doing well under their care. This week following her birthday, we moved her to the newly opened Ballard Aegis
I could not be happier with the partnership with Aegis Madison. My mother moved there first for a short-term rehab stay, and then decided to stay full time. She has a growing community and feels supported by the administration and care staff. I really appreciate the warmth of the atmosphere and the responsiveness of the team leaders. And I feel very confident that if something happens, she will have the help she needs.
My uncle went into Aegis at 92 when he was unable to live alone. The facilities are superb. Great location, clean and modern with lots of activities. But the real strength of this facility is the staff. Very warm and displaying genuine care for their residents. My uncle passed away last month at age 95. His final weeks were filled with staff members coming in to hold his hand and comfort him. It made the process of much easier for all of our family. We knew he was well cared for.
Staff are extremely friendly. The shared spaces such as the library, theater, and entrance are inviting and beautifully maintained. We enjoy the terrace too!
Our family had an in person tour with Aegis on Madison and overall we really liked the tour experience and community, however our loved one chose a different community instead. She had like the food and particularly the location - it is not as much in the city.
We couldn't be happier with Aegis living on Madison. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! They have far exceeded our expectations!! My mom has been staying with them for several months and the compassion, care, AMAZING staff (shout out to Judy and Ebony!!!), and FOOD have been better than I could have ever expected! They truly treat my whole family like we are family and I couldn't be more impressed!
I toured this facility and it was amazing but over the top. It's more expensive than several others in the area and maybe too big and overwhelming. I had a 2 hour personal compassionate sit down with the director, including a tour and recommended reading list. Superb!
We love Aegis Madison. My mother in law is getting excellent care there. The staff is very responsive and the food is great!
They have the whole network in the area so it is a large system but small residences. They have about 100 residents here and it seems like a very reasonable size. The staff have been really good, they have a good solid core and then they bring in students to help assist and they seem to be hiring all the time. They have tried to design the residences like the grand hotels in Europe. All of the ones I have been to have nice common areas and the activities are nice. Because they have the memory ca
My mom lived in the Aegis Living Madison for almost a year. We loved the staff, the food was very good, and it was very clean. The reason we left was because my mom wasn't participating in the activities they had and the field trips. She had a one-bedroom suite with a living room and a private bath. It was very nice and roomy. The only thing I didn't like was that they wouldn't like you to hang pictures on the wall yourself. They wanted to do it themselves. My mother had this Japa
The care givers and other staff at Aegis of Bellevue are awesome but unfortunately the food is horrible. Small portions and low quality, bad tasting food. They are often out of things on the menu. Every night they serve one desert, ice cream and often only have one flavor available. Its too bad because I really like the place otherwise.
Aegis is the best choice available for me. They have daily activities like lectures. I do not attend most of them. The food is fine. It has been positive. I have been living here for two months.
I think the concept at Aegis on Madison is good, and they are OK, but they try to increase their care all the time like moving around rooms and everything else so they can charge more, and I am a little put off by that. The building is beautiful, the surroundings were fine, and everything else was fine. They don’t try to engage her like I wanted. They never take her on any outings outside the memory care unit. In the time that we were there, we moved her within the first week because they said
Aegis Madison just opened in March, when we went to visit. It was very beautiful, brand new, and had several levels of care. They serve all the meals, they have medical professionals there, and they have a very caring staff, very alert to the patients' and to the residents' needs. It was affordable, too. Everything worked out very well. It was much more refined and a bit more of a luxurious place.
