My loved one is a resident at Aegis Galer, and everything about this place is wonderful. I visit several times a week and always find: The staff is friendly and helpful. The building is clean and nicely maintained. The food is very good. The activities and extra services are well-organized and appreciated by residents and family members. The location in Queen Anne has many nearby amenities. Most importantly, my loved one is happy and safe. I am so thankful to have Aegis Galer in my community!
UPDATE August 2024: It has now been almost two years that my husband has been at Aegis Living Queen Anne. I continue to have positive experiences. Everyone at Aegis Living has a helpful and upbeat attitude. My husband had a stroke in October 2022, and requires a great deal of care. Aegis Living looks after him and makes sure he is okay. The Aegis care team is so loving and provides great care to my wonderful friend [name removed]! As much as she did not want to leave her home, this Queen Anne location worked perfectly for her and her family that are close by. The community is elegant and warm and the staff is wonderful.
Much of the food was canned, tasteless, overcooked. My heart broke for my husband who had to eat it. The caregivers were excellent and when [name removed] was actively dying they were exceptional. The problem was communication: too little, too late, if ever. Staff turnover was astounding. My mother has been a resident at Aegis Galer on Queen Anne in Seattle for the past 5+ years. Over the course of her time there her Alzheimer’s has progressed and she currently lives in “Life’s Neighborhood,” where she receives the special care necessary to manage this progressive disease.
