I would say how much I appreciate the proactive communication from the owner when any issue occurs. My mom is clean and cared for, the food is good and the price is much cheaper compared to my where she was before. I found this place based on a recommendation from A Place For Mom. My mom had previously been at Aegis West Seattle and the price had been significantly increased 3 times over the course of 20 months while the care had drastically decreased, little to no communication and continuous
Staff are friendly and seem to genuinely care about the residents. They proactively communicate even when there are no issues. They have collaborated with me to come up with solutions in caring for my mom. They seem very experienced (and patient) in dealing with ALZ/dementia residents. They focus on care instead of calculating points to administer care. The home is clean as are the residents. I'm THANKFUL everyday that my mom was able to move there.
Florence of Seattle is a wonderfully warm and cozy home for my mom. They are providing great individualized care for her. They are very welcoming when we come to visit mom. The staff is taking good care of her and I feel good about the care they are providing her. She hasn't said anything about the food but seems to be gaining weight, so I know she is eating well.
