Reviews for Aegis Senior Living of Shoreline

Compassionate Care, Exceptional Staff

Aegis of Shoreline earns consistent praise for its compassionate, attentive staff across all departments (caregiving, dining, nursing, therapy), immaculate cleanliness, and beautiful facility with accessible amenities. Most families describe excellent communication, responsive management, and high-quality meals, though one long-term resident (2023) criticized kitchen quality as sub-standard, and another reviewer cited impersonal care, overpricing, medication errors, and high turnover. The overwhelmingly positive reviews suggest a facility that provides professional, personalized support during difficult transitions, though families should verify care consistency and medication protocols.

Our Mom is both healthier and happier since moving into Aegis. The staff are extraordinarily kind and go above and beyond.

Dear wonderful staff at Aegis Shoreline… I cannot begin to tell you all how grateful I am and my brother Tim and sister Val are to have chosen Shoreline for our mom‘s assisted living care. You and your dedicated staff not only take great care of her, but you have taken care of us as a family. I never have ever worried about the quality of care and service that she receives and you always keep us up to date. Aegis Shoreline is a rare gem. Thank you for all you do for mom every day. In gratitude,

Aegis Shoreline has been a tremendous resource for our family. From the day I walked in to ask for information, I was welcomed with outstanding communication, partnership, support, and guidance, allowing us to find the the options that best fit our parent. As Dad settled in, the caregivers, medication team, and leadership stayed close, quickly adapting to Dad's changing health, and meeting each new need. The Dining staff were just the very best - the meals were not only attractive and delicious

What I like the most about Aegis of Shoreline is the Food, friendliness, and cleanliness. Yes, I would recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.

My grandpa was staying here for a short time when he had a medical emergency during the night. He used the call button and nobody showed up for 4 HOURS, he was able to contact our family thank god and we were able to call 911. He is in horrible condition due to not being able to get to the hospital sooner and it has greatly declined his health. The staff was nice but I'm greatly disappointed in their response time. It's a great place for people that are more independent.

If your loved one is timid, it is best to have an advocate available. It took some time for Mom to figure out the rules/expectations and she was hesitant to speak up. The facility was great in trying to help once things were out in the open, but until then mom was really unhappy.

The previous review was posted spontaneously and I was just beginning to write it. As I said, Aegis Shoreline has many very positive features, including the extraordinary therapy department and the physical plant manager. The professional staff, the dinning room staff and med techs are generally cheerful and always helpful. The floor staff is also good. The major negative component is the kitchen, where the food, for the entire 5 months of my residence, is sub-standard. Well below what I

My mom is in her fourth week of a respite stay at Aegis of Shoreline, and I am completely impressed with their community. The caregivers are pleasant, helpful, and available. The sales staff is compassionate. The management team is responsive. The residents are welcoming. The PT, OT, nursing, and medical teams are knowledgeable and communicative. The waitstaff in the dining room know the residents’ preferences, families, and needs. The maintenance people are patient, effective and understanding.

Our loved one was a resident at Aegis of Shoreline and we had nothing but good experiences during those hard times. This facility was great. The cleanliness and friendliness were great. The quality of care, meals, and activities were also great.

Our mother stayed at Aegis of Shoreline to receive assisted living and end of life care. Our experience there was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the quality of nursing care was superb, being both professional and personal. The facility is beautiful, the food is very good, the apartments are comfortable, and there are many activities offered for residents to enjoy. Overall, Aegis of Shoreline was a wonderful community, and truly helped meet our family's needs for the best ca

It was impersonal, overpriced and they charged for services they didn't provide. They even made mistakes on meds that could have life threatening consequences. The turnover was constant and the contact with loved one was never consistent. Often things came up missing.

My dad was only there about three weeks before he passed away. I was so glad to have found that facility after touring about 10 other places that were recommended by A Place for Mom. Those other places were really depressing (both home and larger facilities). The last place I tried for my Dad was Aegis shoreline. It was a welcoming clean facility and the initial intake person was really helpful. I immediately signed up. My dad, although 100 years old was vibrant and lived independently until a

Facility isn't bad but you can't make or receive cell phone calls in many areas of the building. Troubling if you have family living there and you want to check on them and have to call the front desk. You have to pay for a regular telephone line to be installed if you want to be able to call a resident.

Aegis has been a wonderful environment for my almost 90 year old mother. She has found new friends, and has the support of her community during challenging times. She likes most of the staff too and I know she feels safe, cared for and able to go on with her life in a different way than living on her own would have allowed. I know she is very happy to be a part of the community!

This is a beautiful facility. You would think it is a nice hotel when you walk in the lobby. It is expensive to live here but you get the best of everything and the staff really likes their jobs and they are all very caring people .

My wife and I both have parents who've lived in multiple assisted living facilities over time. We both agree Aegis of Shoreline is the best of them. The staff is well-trained, friendly, caring and attentive. The nursing staff is very active and responsive. The activity staff is engaging. The maintenance and cleanliness of the building is impeccable. The food variety and quality is closer to restaurant dining.

I am living independently with disabled transportation available to me and am much happier. I have even begun substituting at public schools. This facility is 1/3 empty at any given time which tells you a lot about the place. The Head Nurse would yell at his staff in front of residents, visitors and other staff. I was paying a lot for medication administration, which it turns out I can do fine on my own. I am now 55. I believe that the manager at the time and the nurse teamed up to keep me at t
