Reviews for Sunrise of Redmond
Exceptional Staff, Vibrant Community
Sunrise of Redmond receives uniformly glowing reviews from families and visitors, with consistent praise for compassionate staff who ease the often-stressful transition to assisted living. Reviewers highlight specific staff members by name—Chris, Megan, Tim, Ashley, Yvonne, and numerous caregivers—crediting them with patience, kindness, and going above and beyond. The facility stands out for its exceptional amenities including multiple enclosed gardens for both memory care and assisted living, a robust activity calendar with live music and community outings, and warm, welcoming atmosphere that feels like home rather than an institution.
I would highly recommend Sunrise of Redmond to anyone looking for an assisted living facility for their loved one. From the very first visit we felt welcomed. Chris S. made us feel at ease and gently guided us through the entire process. The environment is welcoming and our interactions with all of the staff have been positive. The staff (to many wonderful people to name) truly demonstrated their dedication to caring for my Mom. They listened to our needs and responded accordingly. I am g
had a wonderful experience with Sunrise of Redmond. The community is clean, welcoming, and beautifully maintained, especially the enclosed gardens. The staff are compassionate and attentive, and Chris from the marketing team was especially helpful, professional, and kind throughout the process. He made everything smooth and stress-free. It truly feels warm, safe, and home-like. Highly recommend!
I moved into Sunrise of Redmond over 3 years ago right after the community was remodeled. The building has an inviting, warm feel and I am very comfortable here. The common spaces are beautiful, the activities keep us healthy and active and we get to socialize with our friends everyday! The thing that makes this place really special is the kindness I receive from the staff.. you feel their warmth and passion for what they do and they truly make you feel like your apart of the Sunrise family:)
Sunrise of Redmond is great! My mom lives at sunrise in memory care. The staff are so friendly and caring! She’s getting much better care here than me and my family were providing by ourselves and I’m so grateful. I also really like the outdoor space in memory care. Beautiful courtyard!
I did a tour on a Sunday with Megan the activity director, and found that the facility is truly amazing. What a wonderful place for living, visiting and to work at! Megan did a great job with showing us around and sounds like people there get to do some pretty fun stuff!!
Sunrise of Redmond is a great place for seniors to live. My Mom lives there in the Reminiscence (memory care) neighborhood. Though Reminiscence is a locked area, it doesn't feel that way. There are 3 large community rooms: the dining hall, the TV room, and the activity room. All 3 rooms have large windows and open out into an enclosed garden. My Mom's apartment overlooks the Reminiscence garden. Residents can enjoy walking on a concrete walk or sitting in comfy chairs under the gazebo in the b
Visiting Sunrise of Redmond with my client couldn’t have gone better. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at ease after our drive from the Kitsap Peninsula. Tim greeted us warmly and introduced us to Chris Shepard, who led a seamless and informative tour — with help from the friendly community dog, Bo Diddley! We met Ashley, the Executive Director, and Yvonne, the nurse who’s been dedicated to Sunrise for over 15 years. Megan shared a wonderful, well-rounded activity calendar, and
Our family is so grateful for Chris at Sunrise Assisted Living. He has been absolutely instrumental in helping our parents transition into their new home. Moving in your 80s and 90s can be incredibly stressful and scary, but Chris made it such a positive experience. He treated our parents with so much kindness and respect — always patient, funny, and willing to help with anything. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him. His warmth and sense of humor made all the difference during what could
So many positive experiences with recently moving my loved one to Sunrise Redmond...from the sales process to staff helping my loved one settle in, the kind and welcoming staff have helped support many of the stressors of moving a loved one into assisted living. I have witnessed much kindness, patience and reassurance in addition to receiving clear communication from the caregivers not only toward my own family member, but toward other residents as well. I toured a handful of communities prio
Sunrise of Redmond is only two stories. We didn't get a chance to look at the rooms, but the basic facility was quite nice. The nice thing about it was that on the second floor there was a big outdoor area that was somewhat contained, so you wouldn't wander off. It had plenty of an outdoor feel to it and was very open. They have a large courtyard with sitting areas and a lot of privacy as well. It was quite spacious. The staff was very warm, pleasant, and enthusiastic.
The Sunrise of Redmond assisted living was in the process of being completely remodeled when we visited it. That part would not open until August so there were many areas that we were not able to see. One thing that stood out to my dad is that he's wheelchair-bound and the hallways were kind of narrow and there were typical doorways. It's hard to navigate with the wheelchair around and in and out of the doorways and hallways. They have residents but we couldn't see that part. We s
Everyone was awesome. They were very friendly, supportive, and accommodating. I liked the whole caring aspect of the staff and the residents. While my father was there, this area had huge snowstorms and they were accommodating to put in an extra bed for my mother, so that she could be with him until he passed away. They had quite a bit of activities available.
It had a very nice entry, and there was a welcoming committee. I was looking at studios, and they were very nice, clean, and decent sized. We had lunch there several times, and the food was very good -- ample amounts and very tasty. The staff was very accommodating and very well trained.
I liked it. The employees impressed me. Their work attitude was great. The rooms were great. If we move, that's where I'd like to go.
I had a nice visit here. They were very cordial and pleasant. The whole place was very nice and attractive. It was very clean with a lovely setting, and it felt welcoming.
It was very attractive. It was a nice, clean and well-decorated place. They had different things for the residents to do. The people there had a sense of energy. It wasn't like you were just with a bunch of old people. I liked the very positive attitude of the people there especially the staff. They were the ones who showed me around and they very good. It would be something I would be interested in and had to fit with my insurance plan and budget.
It was clean and the people were friendly. They can handle dementia patients. The exterior of the building was a little older but the inside was in good shape and painted. The rooms were adequate but you have to bring furniture in for the dementia patients.
I toured this community, which I liked very much. That was my first choice for my mother. I liked it because of the fact that it was more of a group situation, but it was intimidating for my mother since her communication and interactions skills are not what they used to be and everybody was pretty active there. It might have been fine for me.
