Reviews for Village Green Senior Living of Federal Way

Excellent Care, Beautiful Setting

Village Green earns consistent praise for its warm, attentive staff and beautiful grounds, with residents and families highlighting excellent care quality, particularly nursing support during health declines. The food receives mostly positive feedback, though a few reviewers find it bland, and the apartments and cottages are described as spacious and well-appointed. Minor concerns include occasional billing issues, dated room décor in some areas, and costs that may feel high when utilities and extras are factored in, but overall satisfaction remains very strong across all care levels.

My mother lives at Village Green and loves it! Her apartment is spacious, private, and fits her very well. The care staff and office staff are wonderful to her and very kind. Mom visits the library every day and likes to view the beautiful grounds even if she does not go outside very often into them. There are tons of activities, the food and dining experience is wonderful, and the other residents are all very polite and supportive. My siblings and I visit her often and have all enjoyed our

What we like the most about Village Green is our food and the server, [name removed]. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.

my mother is in an independent living cottage and we have limited exposure to the assisted living or apartment style housing., but it's been a great experience for us. nothing really concerning comes to mind. some occasional billing items (like a housekeeping credit) that needs to be applied but those are quite minor and get fixed promptly. overall she has reallly liked the friendliness of the staff and other residents and really likes the cottage setup. she has a lot of independent freedom whi

I will start out with the negative, the rooms could use an upgrade. Beyond that the food was good, the general staff was very good and the nursing was outstanding. My mother deteriorated fairly quickly and when hospice step in the nursing staff really stepped up their game.

While we were going on vacation, we needed respite care for our 92 year-old father who still lived in his own home. Village Green offered assisted living in a fully furnished room for 7 to 30 days, which was perfect for our needs. All of the staff was wonderful. Unfortunately, it was discovered shortly after dad went to stay there that the progression of his Alzheimer’s had made it too difficult for him to acclimate to such a large housing environment. He had difficulty finding his room and th

My mother lived in Village Green for approximately 13 months before passing on. When we chose this facility it was because of its welcoming atmosphere, security and an adequate apartment that offered lots of light and a closeness to the nurses station. Unfortunately she wasn't able to see it prior to moving in but she was thrilled when walking into her new home for the first time. We were so happy with the immediate connection our mother made with special staff members. This facility was also

My husband was at Village Green assisted living for a month. During that time I spent almost everyday with him. I was amazed at the excellent care he received, no matter where he was in the building they found him to give him his pills on time. The food was excellent the menu offered an excellent selection. All the areas are beautiful and well kept up. All the help know your name. I can't say enough good about Village Green, it is first class in every way.

We have visited Village Green several times and always found friendly and helpful staff and residents. Several residents were so kind as to let us into their apartments so we could see what they look like. Today we added our name to the wait list, and are looking forward to when we can move in..

I agree with everything Darlene says about Village Green, but want to add - it's the wonderful people who live here that really make Village Green such a terrific place to live. You couldn't find a group of more interesting and caring folks. It is fun to live among them.

For over 15 years, we have truly valued our partnership with Village Green, as we've teamed up to provide high quality care to our seniors. They have been respected members of the community for years and we've had the privilege of their support at many of our events/classes. The staff at Village Green have also graciously allowed us to co-host a caregiver support group with one of their residents, and we greatly appreciate the relationship we have built with both staff and residents at this comm

My mom doesn't like the food, she says it is bland. Otherwise they are fine.

The staff at this community are nice and helpful. They offer a lot of activities. Mom likes the food and the community seems to be clean. I would recommend this community.

A wonderful surprise! We had a great tour with Lisa and appreciated the layout and choices made in designing the services. All three levels of service are on "campus" and support our goal to keep Roger & Marilyn together. We will be exploring options with Village Green!

Village Green has a superb staff. I have no complaints as far as cost, I think it's very fair for such a lovely place. I'm in the independent living part, and when something goes on they're always there to take care of you. The staff is very well trained, courteous, and very friendly, and I'm a new person, so I really think this was a wonderful place. As far as activities, there's something for everybody and it's just good overall, it's lovely.

They have been very tolerant of my mothers craziness. Since mom has gotten there she has gotten more senile. But they have been very helpful and cooperative in the midst of a difficult adjustment and a rough transition. Every so often there is a little lack of communication.

My mom moved in and she's really doing well. Her physical therapy is right in the building next door, and she loves the therapist. Overall, she's really liking it. The apartment is great! The cottages are awesome as well. She really wanted to move in to the cottages, but she's realizing that the apartment is a great fit. The grounds are awesome as well. There are walking paths everywhere, and it's beautiful!

I would have liked to live there but it was just too big and fancy for my mother. You could have gotten lost! It seemed kind of upity. Just too big.

By far our favorite. The cottage life would be our preference. One of the houses was perfect except for the costs, especially adding in all the utilities that are not included in the cottages. We liked the area as well. We shared an evening with a resident couple who were very sharing about the lifestyle and costs of living there.
