Great caring staff, good food, lots of activities, well kept up building and good appt size. Andrew the sales guy bends over backwards to help you get in. A VERY caring place. Can't say enough good things about them. And they are reasonably priced. The dining room staff know your name right off.

The community of residents are so engaging and friendly. My parents are happy and fully engaged. My dad plays in the Farrington band and my mom sometimes sings with the group. My mom has grown stronger in her physical condition as she is no longer only sedentary watching TV from the time she got up until the time she went to bed prior to moving to Farrington. So I visited many assisted living places and did not like them, but Farrington Court really felt like a good home for my Mother. Farrington Court has been a great option for the transition into an assisted living facility. My 92 year old mom who was living independently agreed to visit potential Assisted Living Facilities. She needed immediate care, but continued to not recognize the urgency of her need for assistance in her living activities. I’m a new resident of 3 weeks here. I first toured Farrington Court 2 years ago, when I checked out places in Kent for a possible future move. FC staff treat everyone as an individual, calling us by name, remembering likes and dislikes, helping as appropriate and respecting our abilities. They are kind and playful when appropriate, compassionate when that is appropriate and helpful to one another. Other residents generally follow suit and engage with one another when welcomed and giving space when that is desired. Friendly and encouraging is the general atmosphere, and after two months I feel as though I belong here.

I liked everything about Farrington Court. All the utilities are included and they have lots of programs for seniors to socialize with each other. The staff seemed very nice and very friendly. Farrington Court extends the high quality life of my 92 y.o. mom who is battling Cancer. They provide the newly remodeled 2 b.r. apartment, facilities, and staff that is supremely patient while striving for excellence. There employees are truly blessed with the gift to offer kind supportive assistance to the residents of this residence-to can a place. During a stressful time in my life, I found Farrington Court for respite care. The staff is truly remarkable, kind, understanding, and supportive. Some CNAs to praise are Eva, Laura, Peejay, and Katherine. The chef does moderate sizes of healthful food and incredible brownies, plus a professional and kind presence in the dining room.

Farrington Court was a lovely community with cheerful staff. They were very familiar with everyone, and they had a nice courtyard. The rooms were a nice size and set up nicely. They had a sing-along when we went there, but they also had other things like a game room, puzzle area, dining, activity room, physical therapy, and a nice garden.

The friendliness of the staff members would be higher than 5 stars, they are amazing. Our loved one is happy with the meals so far, we have not had the chance to experience the meals and dining our selves but they look and smell amazing. We are so impressed with the activities there are so many things for the residents to participate in. The value for cost is great, they have better service for less of a cost.

Farrington Court is a great home for us living there. Our staff is always available to take care of whatever we need. Doors are always open for any of them. The renovation in the common areas this past year has given all of us a lift in spirits, while we have had to stay at home. All services are excellent.

My parents lived at Farrington Court for about seven years. My mom passed away two years ago and my father left to move to Oregon a month ago. FC kept my dad safe and alive during COVID. Not only that, but they kept all of them engaged with fun and unique activities. My dad got so excited about winning $.75 at hallway bingo! My folks have been living at Farrington Court for about six months, and the level of care and caring that they get from the staff there is really amazing. They have lived in other assisted living's where it didn't really seem that anyone cared whether they were there or not. Before placing my brother-in-law at Farrington I visited about a half dozen other facilities in our area. Farrington compares very well in all categories. While the apartments are small, they are adequate for his needs. Attractiveness of the apartments depends of course on what furniture and belongings a resident brings with him. Farrington Court seemed old and well used, but it was clean. I was a little less impressed. The elevator didn't work. The apartment had been refurbished, so it was nice, clean and new. They had a park where people take their pets, a garden area where everybody can have a small garden, a big dining area, and a sitting room or TV room. The staff was helpful, interested, and caring.

Farrington Court was very nice and would be in my consideration in the next few years if I need it. The dining room was medium-size and not as large as what I had seen in other places, but more than adequate. They had an atrium in the center of the parking, and they had some covered parking. We toured Farrington Court. All of their apartments had a full kitchen, but my mother did not need a full kitchen, and we didn't want her to even have one. It's an old facility. The person who showed it to us was very nice, knowledgeable, and seemed very caring. I liked her.

I have a friend that lives in Farrington Court, independent living. I can’t live in there. People have their own little apartments and have to get themselves down to eat. However, it is a great place. All of the people there have a sound mind. If they have Alzheimer’s, it may be in the early stages. Otherwise, they cannot do much. It is a nice place. My friend Shirley is extremely happy there. Their dining area looks really nice. It is in a good location.

There are a lot of activities at Farrington Court and my mother-in-law definitely enjoys those. The only thing I can think of they can think where they can improve is the food. On a scale from 1-10 I would give them about a 7. Other than that, everything has been great and we are very satisfied.

We toured a few Senior Living facilities, first with Mom, then after she ended up in the hospital and recovering in skilled nursing, on our own. After we saw Farrington, my 29y.o. daughter said to Mom, "Grandma, I'd live there!" We selected Farrington Court in Kent. We loved the admin staff there. I really didn't want to give up my home, but being here has made it a lot easer. Every one here, including all staff, tenants make my stay here more enjoyable than I really thought possible. Activities for everyone, meals are at the top of list as if you can't find something you like that's your fault. The gardens at Farrington Court are just outstanding and the event that they held on September 7, 2013 with Ciscoe was over the top!! The staff at Farrington Court really worked hard to make the day magical for all. They had a small farmers market going on in the front lobby and they had apartments to tour. The apartments are very spacious with full kitchens, love the remodeling and updating that they are doing in the apartments!! This is a great community with great staff!!!

The gardens of the community is just great and I loved seeing residents working the garden when I was visiting the food Chef Brennan makes is so tasty and I loved that he came out into the dining room to meet me. Personally, I didn't care much for Farrington Court. There is something with the feel of the place that I didn't like. I felt that there were an awful lot of old ladies with walker sitting around and I just didn't like that. I saw their one-bedroom apartments and I felt the bedroom was too small. My mom really liked this facility. Kimberly was really nice. My mom especially liked the two bedroom. There wasn't Wi-Fi yet but they have upgrades going in. The residents remarked to her how much they loved their home there. The gardens are beautiful. The facility felt homey to my mom

Positives-The director is a fantastic ambassador of facility and obviously the residents love him. Older facility but everyone seemed very happy and friendly. Great staff retention. Dining room open 7a-7p- ie no set meal times which supports the social environment. Independent living includes 3 meals daily. Nice alcoves for casual socialization. Apts smaller than Arbor Village but have full kitchens which was very important to Mom. If AL was needed, no need to move within facility. 24 hour RN li
