Reviews for Aegis Living Kirkland
Exceptional Care, Premium Price
Aegis at Totem Lake/Kirkland earns consistently high praise for compassionate, attentive staff and a clean, well-run environment. Families highlight smooth transitions, excellent nursing care, strong management presence, and meaningful activities that help residents adapt after loss. The primary criticisms are cost (described as expensive with high entry requirements) and small private rooms, with one reviewer noting food variety fell short of advertised during COVID.
My friend has only lived at Aegis of Kirkland for the past two months. It’s been a tough battle for him because he needed immediate care coming out of the hospital. Aegis worked with us and the hospital to arrange the respite care that he needed and they continue to work their magic to this day. Since spending time at the facility, I have only witnessed kindness, tenderness and caring from the staff, not only to my friend but to all that enter the building. Angela and Kristen especially have wo
My parents moved here two years ago and my Dad has stayed after my Mom’s passing in 2024. The facilities are beautiful and well maintained, the programming awesome and the food delicious. But above all, the kind and competent care my Dad receives is amazing. He has dementia, but is fully integrated into the broader community, which I love. An unexpected benefit is that the staff have become my village in seeing to his needs; they take care of me as well as him. I am so grateful that he is where
My mom moved into Aegis at Totem Lake earlier this year. After my dad passed, she went through a lot of changes, and we wanted to make sure she had extra support and care around her. From the very beginning, the team at Aegis has been wonderful. Kristen and Abdou made the transition smooth and comforting, and Angela, the General Manager, leads with genuine kindness and presence. Pam, Ruthanne, and Anna create such a warm, welcoming environment. Whether my mom is coming down from her room or gu
My mom has lived at Aegis Living on Totem Lake Boulevard for a little over a year. This is a place full of very caring people. Kristen was so very thoughtful helping us understand this next step of assisted living while calmly getting my mom settled into her new space. There has never been a difficulty, big or small, that wasn't solved with kindness & respect for my mom and the residents of this community. The energy & knowledge of the staff is exceptional along with the touches of joy and hum
Great facilities with an incredibly warm and helpful staff. My mom had just lost her husband of 70 years and moving into Aegis of Kirkland has helped her adapt to her new situation, create new friends and take up new activities.
Well run facility, clean, and the staff and caregivers are wonderful. There have been a couple of times that my mom had a medical emergency, and they handled it promptly and professionally. We were considering 2 facilities, and I toured them each a couple of times, once with my mom and the second time I just dropped in. The deciding factor for me was when I showed up at the other place, there were residence asleep in the dining room, the staff was in some type of meeting, and it just felt diso
Our family had an in person tour with Aegis of Kirkland and it was a really great tour experience but they had too high of an entry level for us.
I can confidently rate Aegis of Kirkland a 5 out of 5. My brother and I found Aegis to be very clean in all the common areas as well as private areas. The food is excellent, and the staff is compassionate. They have several activities going on throughout the day. There is something that should appeal to anyone tastes. [name removed], the marketing manager, was so helpful during the transition process.
Oh my. I love my uncle and he’s here. He was always so kind and supportive and encouraging of me. Still is, I should say. He doesn’t know where he is any more, but he knows these folks care for him. Sometimes he remembers me, sometimes we’re just polite acquaintances having a chat. I am so grateful fit the staff here.
We had a great tour with Aegis or Kirkland, the gal who showed us around was very nice and we got a good feel for the facility. We felt that it was too big for what we were looking for and it is expensive.
We chose Aegis of Kirkland because it was what my dad wanted. The rooms at the facility were small, private rooms. I think the food could use improvement, they could have more variety and what they advertised was not accurate. We were here during covid, but I would tell others to make sure to tour and try the food before moving your loved one in here.
Aeges Living is an senior age home. We used to go there for a program of APDA. The staffs are very cooperative and helpful. The place is so beautiful and neat and clean, I like the place. The residents there are living a healthy and peaceful life as I saw them.
Just had my mother there. My experience was as good as it could be. Exceptionally caring and efficient staff without exception. Great care. Always people around each other with activities. Came away with being moved and reminded what caring and loving looks and feels like.
