Really nice place, welcoming and friendly
My mom lived at Red Oak for about 4 months right after a severe stroke that landed her in the hospital for a month. Amy, Jarad, Kym, and the staff members and residents were so welcoming to her even though she was just getting back on her feet (literally) and working on speech issues. Jarad and Kym especially made the move in and communication very easy, especially with the endless administrative tasks that need to happen when someone moves to this stage in life. Wonderful Home/Place that is very well managed by friendly, caring & compassionate Management who are truly good people. We've heard, seen/experienced nothing but Great recommendations from everyone in reference to the Red Oak Residence, a place for our most cherished Family members &/or Friends can live in excellence. I am writing a review with regards to Red Oak Retirement Center in North Bend WA. My first complaint is with the staff especially the receptionist at the front desk. Very argumentation and there is no resolving an issue with this person. There is never anyone in the office that can resolve issues and there is no communication between the staff with the residents health or medical issues. Everything is fine! My dad likes his meals, especially the chicken. He gets room cleaning weekly. The staff are all polite, high school students help in the dining room and the manager and staff are more than willing to be helpful in all ways. They are really, really nice people. My dad gets to drive to my house often and I thank A Place For Mom for all the help in finding a great community!
With a few minor exceptions we are very pleased with it.
