Staff is amazing and assisted living care is excellent. Their communication with us when my father in law was ill was great. There are some employees who have been there for 15+ years which says a lot. They really care about the residents and consider them family. The staff are "top drawer", the meals are very good, my apartment is very comfortable, and the residents are friendly and we all go by first names. All makes for a community feeling.

The staff are very friendly and address all the residents by name. They have lots of activities for people to join in and both the residents and staff stay positive as new people are learning how the activities work.

The staff including sales, move in, prime fit, restaurant and maintenance are always very kind and address people by their names and make sure to talk with residents at their level so if they are in wheelchairs etc. they will bend down so they can see faces and able to hear them well.

Friendly staff. Nice facility, pool, weight room, social area with pool table, card table, games and crafts, grand piano area. Good restaurant for family meals. Fantastic amenities and staff. Very helpful with the guests. Lots of things to do and an amazing kitchen. Location is great and there are a lot of great trails. If you get the chance to talk with Jeanie she will make your day better! Very helpful and entertaining!

The staff is super friendly. Each staff member addresses each resident by name and gets to know each one individually. From our tour to our move in and current living our experience has been wonderful. My mom's experience transitioning over to this living community has been effortlessly. Residents have welcomed her and she has been actively enjoying all the community events and excursions. We would highly recommend Fairwinds to others.

The staff is AMAZING!!! It is very apparent that the company values their staff and that in turn makes a happy employee that takes pride in their work and ownership/care in the place they work and the residents who live there. There is a strong feeling of "Family".

We moved my father in law into Fairwinds Redmond about 3 months ago. From the first day he had a warm welcome not only from the staff but also from the residents. The staff and residents are friendly, the shared facilities are nice and there are a variety of activities to keep residents entertained. My mom enjoys Fairwinds thanks to all of this. The biggest issue is the food. The food has been mediocre at best for my mom and it does not seem to be getting any better. Wait times for service/food orders plus food readiness also seem long. Options are limited and some meals are cafeteria quality. If you are told otherwise, I encourage you not to believe it

More than 4 months in and Fairwinds Redmond has met all expectations and support needed for Mom. When we found Fairwinds Redmond (FWR) we were scrambling after mom's fall, emergency surgery, and skilled nursing care. We chose FWR for our Mom because Krysta and the staff went out of their way to find the best apt and welcome her to the facility. Even after moving in they have shown her above average attention. Our Mom says the food is terrific! Thanks for helping us navigate this difficult transition.

When Mom was healthier it was a pretty good place, she played Bingo and Poker and ate in the restaurant. The food was very good. But, Mom moved into this facility knowing she would die there from Leukemia. She was on Hospice. As Mom got weaker and weaker, I learned that the marketing people gave me misleading info about their capabilities to care for someone near end of life. They have a "no lift" policy. The employees could not get my Mom onto the bedside commode, it was only when I got there w

The staff and other residents have been very welcoming for my mother and her little dog. It is comforting to know that they interact with every resident daily to make sure they are doing well. They also have a variety of activities for the residents.

I met a lot of the staff and did a tour. I had a gal that I would communicate with if I had any questions. I also ate some meals there to see how the food was. Plus, it was within a mile of my home, so very nicely located. The place was really clean and the staff were wonderful. I would highly recommend this facility to others.

I found the community to be very reasonably priced, with ample sized rooms and many amenities. Knowing that the heated pool could be used by the grand kids was a real bonus! Nate did an amazing job with his tour of the community, and gave great advise about comparable communities and options out there. Very impressed overall.

I understand other people had positive experiences with this community, but I saw an ugly side and have a horrible taste in my mouth about this place. Recommend taking your business elsewhere, to one of the various other options in the area.

The community is very friendly. They have a big community and nice areas to walk. My apt is nice and I like my view. Communication is good but they use fliers and a community board. but if you lose the flier you don't know what's going on. We are able to go to meetings and give suggestions. Nice and close. The monthly fee was a little more for the care my loved one would have received for the buy-in. The resident Managers were helpful and easy to work with. They were good at sharing information about other communities and what might suit your loved one better. If they would have offered advanced care it would have been better for the fee.

Amazing staff and beautiful facility!

I love Fairwinds Redmond! My mother is a resident there and the things this community has done to keep her safe during this last year while still providing so much socializing and personal attention. I know so many people who's parents and such have been stuck at home in isolation for so long now and who's health has deteriorated so much. I recommend this place to anyone and trust them with my own mom!

During my visit to Fairwinds-Redmond I could see such Joy on the faces of the residents there. It was such a clean place, with friendly people and fun activities. I know my mom would love it there and I most definitely would live there when I retire. I highly recommend a visit!

If you are looking for a place that serves your loved ones with nothing but the best dining experience, look no further! Unlike the bland dishes that are served elsewhere, every dish that comes out of Chef Ray's kitchen is superb. Very spacious buildings and beautiful landscaping. Babbling creek in the back and gardens to work in are a great environment to be in. Staff are caring; Guest Services Manager, Randee Young, is absolutely fabulous. She's welcoming, very friendly, adds a sparkle to every interaction and works tirelessly to ensure residents are taken care of!

We attended a charity auction are Fairwinds, what an awesome place! The event took place in the dining room, we had a great meal and the chef even stopped by our table to chat! The residents here must feel like they are at a fine dining restaurant for every meal. The staff were friendly and professional and have seemed to developed a great rapport with their residents. Exercise class with Jim Rio is so helpful for my body. I am stronger than I have been in years. He works us out to your personal ability and we always work out to music.

My parents loved living at Fairwinds for 12 happy and healthy years. This place was like family to us. There was top level attention to health, happiness and activity for all of their residents. We can never thank Fairwinds enough, especially Randee Young. ❤️

I really wish they didn't force residents to have a meal plan. Some people don't want the institutional food but they still make you pay an arm and a leg for it! Nice staff overall.

A very nice facility with a lot of activities, caretakers who really know their residents, and up-to-date apartments. Great selection of units, valet parking and beautiful grounds close to shopping. The staff are helpful, kind and seem to really care about everyone. A lot of employees have worked there for many years, which is a very good sign of strong management.

Everything is going just great! The staff are friendly and accommodating and the facility is kept very clean. My loved one gets plenty opportunities to participate in activities. Overall, we have no complaints!

My family extensively visited and reviewed Fairwinds (Avondale) in Redmond during the fall of 2016, for my father. In short, before visiting Fairwinds, he was totally against moving out of his house. I had a good positive tour with this community. I saw them remodeling and it looked poorly. The price was odd. It started out low then they told me if additional care was needed the price would add on more charges. It seemed like the pricing favored the community more than the resident's budget.

The Fairwinds community is fabulous. My mother is always busy with activities. If you are searching for an assisted living community for your family member this is a wonderful place to put them. My overall rating of this community is 5 stars. I think this is a 5 star community. It's super clean, everyone is friendly, the care givers are great, and they have many activities to keep the residents busy.

I visited in January, 2014. Colleen was very welcoming, almost like a neighbor. She showed me around the building; it was raining heavily, so we didn't walk any of the paths on the 8 acres of forest/wetlands. This facility offers at no extra charge many amenities for which there are charges at other facilities. Comparing cost with features, I rate this among the best.

"Your wish is our command" seems to be the watchword of all the staff. That, plus a pleasant and relaxed environment commended this facility to us.

The units were very small and rather pricey.

Our #1 choice. Spoke to Director. Very resort looking. Residents seemed happy, nice reviews, pool, rooms are very nice, nice grounds. Up to 30 days respite. Need to verify prices, Residents looked happy and had great things to say.
