Reviews for Redmond Heights Senior Living
Caring Staff, Chaotic Management
Redmond Heights shows a stark divide in experiences depending on timing and management changes. Older reviews consistently praise warm staff, reasonable pricing, and a homey atmosphere, while recent reviews highlight serious operational problems -- office staff miscommunication on billing, poor food quality, maintenance delays (broken water, cable, elevators), inconsistent cleanliness, and management turnover. Care staff and maintenance personnel earn consistent praise across all periods, but families report needing to escalate issues repeatedly to get resolution.
I have been in the healthcare business for over 20 years and found myself on Medicaid and in Redmond Heights. These are the worst conditions worst food worst nursing staff member it’s just horrible. Stay away! There are some good caregivers actually awesome caregivers but it’s 50-50 percent I know that when you’re on Medicaid, your choices are a few this Assisted living or an adult family home personally now I’m trying to find a good adult family home. But I’m stuck here till then and having to
Not many residents in memory care. Not a lot going on. The place smells good and is clean. Have had to go up the chain to get issues solved.
The nurses and support staff here are amazing, great people, they do good work and really care about their people. Al, the maintenance guy is the best I've met. The food is terrible, and clearly no money is put into that. The office staff are incompetent and lack any level of communication. They miscommunicated several times on very basic things, like how much rent was due, creating panic that never existed. Did your level increase, costing more? They won't tell you. The residents complain con

I like Redmond Heights Senior Living's location. I like that you're able to have your own room, and I like the fact that they had activities for the patient to mingle and socialize with their peers. It's close to where we live. The staff that showed me around was very friendly. He took the time with me, and I appreciated that. The building was very clean, and the structure seemed like it was fairly new, maybe two to three years old. It has had some renovations. They had a nice sun
Things are getting better. We've had some issues along the way, but they're getting addressed. So things should be better moving forward! Staff is wonderful. The facility could use to be a little cleaner, but over all, I think it is a good place.
So the move was positive. The rooms/apartments where exactly as presented in their online brochure and the staff are friendly and genuinely interested in the care of the residents here. They really care and it shows. The dining room, (communal), is large and roomy and set like a restaurant. The meals are plentiful with special orders encouraged. And the meals taste great. The chef cooks food with the same care he shows all of his "customers". All my experiences here at Redmond Heights, or home a
I like Redmond Heights Senior Living. The walk-through was good. I enjoyed what the staff had to say about the place and the people. The people there were very nice. They have apartments, and they're big compared to what I'm in now. I saw the dining room, and the dining room was large, too. It's like a restaurant. You get a menu that you can look over, they come back and take your order, and they give what you've ordered to you. It's nice.

When I had my stroke last June and after 3 weeks of acute rehab in the hospital, I feel unsafe to go back home as I live alone. Luckily, I found an affordable temporary home in Redmond Heights Senior Living (RHSL) where Paul and his team gave me all the support at this challenging time in my life so that I am now on my road to almost full recovery. I will greatly miss the healthy and delicious meals prepared by Chef Nate and the warm service of his kitchen staff. I am also greatly thankful to
Place says they have a 24 hr nurse. But they have a ridiculous turn over rate due to management. That tenants get overlooked. And they have had issues getting their ac fixed or maintained
Redmond Heights Senior Living was horrific. The staff was very unfriendly and unhelpful. I had an appointment for an hour, and he gave me like three-and-a-half minutes and showed me one apartment and then he rushed off and he didn't talk about any of the amenities. I didn't see anything other than one apartment. The grounds were horrible. There was nothing but weeds growing in the flower beds. You just felt like you were in a cement building. The apartment he showed me was on the groun
I recently visited this facility and was pleasantly surprised with the great looking, newly remodeled apartments. They are really nice and well done. The administrator took time to meet with me and the staff and residents were friendly. This seems like an up-and-coming place.
They have totally revamped their process, great new management, food is great and awesome activities. Lots of remodelling have been done to the room and I just love the staff.
Updated info: If you haven't seen Redmond Heights recently, you have to take a look. Many of the rooms have been fully remodled and are BEAUTIFUL. The team and leadership continue to get better. What a great facility! Heights was recently acquired by the neighboring nursing home and has been adding incredible staff and leadership since. It is close to everything Redmond and has easy access to the community. The proximity and relationship with the 5 star nursing home next door makes it a g
Avoid this place at all costs! When my mil was hospitalized for covid they abandoned her snd refused to take her back. even tho she no longer had covid they refused to let her come back EVEN tho her husband ( also a resident) had just died of covid.
Redmond Heights Senior Living is partially under construction. It had an odor to it. The person receiving me was friendly enough, but I didn't see any of the residents interacting. They were just sitting at tables, each one by themselves, and not engaging. I didn't talk to any of them, and I wasn't encouraged to.

I visited Redmond Heights Senior Living. The facility appeared to be slightly above utilitarian, it's an older facility but it's maintained. The rooms were functional and the facilities were overused but they're ok. The staff was great and in talking to the staff, I thought that they were dedicated, very considerate, and caring. I would highly recommend the staff for their professionalism and attitude. I toured during COVID, so activities were not really in full swing yet. They we

My grandfather has been at Redmond Heights for 8 months now. He has been happy and content with the care and attention to the small details of his life including his hobbies, love of getting outdoors for fresh air and nature, and best of all the food has been great. One of the staff members even found out his favorite dessert and baked him a pie for fathers day! The team at the building is one of the best I've met in this area.
The new leadership has CHANGED this facility. Not only are they extremely caring, they are doing everything they can to beautify the facility for the staff and residents. The community is currently under remodel with each of the rooms becoming state of the art, and beautiful. Cant say enough about the positive feeling at this place!
Redmond Heights provides a comfortable clean living environment with helpful staff.

Redmond Heights Sr Living is a great place for seniors. The staff are kind, competent and truly care for their patients. The quality of service and safety of the residents are their top priority. I would highly recommend this place to your loved ones.
Great community! A lot of wonderful new changes going on from renovation and to hiring employees that truly cares about their residents and co-workers.
We went to Redmond Heights Senior Living. It was nice, and the people were nice. They didn't have any two-bedroom apartments. They had just the one-bedroom kind. It was more of a care facility than an apartment-type thing. After looking at the other facility, I don't think I was very impressed with them. I just got the impression of their apartments and that they took care of the people if they needed it. The staff who assisted me with the tour was very nice.
Worst place to let your loved one stay!!!!! Don’t west ur time 👿🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
Bed experience don’t west ur time.
The gentleman giving the tour was very nice and very knowledgeable. BUT.. I would not recommend them to anyone. It's very dark and dingy. Like a horror movie really. Like an old hotel from the 1970's..
Worst place to let your loved one stay
Tenants tend to be in a room that's too hot. And staff doesn't care. They hired part timers and huge turnover of staff led to No one caring for the tenants.
We had a problem when my loved one moved in because everything was broken. She had no cold water, only hot water. And it took them a few weeks to fix it. Her cable was broken as well, which took about a month to fix. So she sat in quarantine with no TV. They did bring a DVD player into her apartment so she could watch DVDs. So I thought that was over and above and really nice. At this point, she doesn't require much everyday care. They do come pick her up if she falls down. The food is
Staff was very friendly, cleanliness left a LOT to be desired. Smelled dank. Food was edible. Management was horrible.
Redmond Heights Senior Living Facility has been a good experience for our family. Our mother is 85 years old. Since May of last year she has been in this facility. Our mother’s health has declined drastically. Now she is under hospice care still here at Redmond Heights. All of us kids and grandkids have spent many hours here at Heights spending time with mom. We have had “firsthand experience” with all the staff at Redmond Heights; the Director, the Nursing staff, the receptionist, the kitc
My father is very happy here. He was in another facility and was always agitated. Here he is calmer and happy. He ahs gained weight and looks healthier then in quite a while.

Pretty good care, good enough to earn a 4 or 5 star rating, but the comment someone made about home style meals does not ring true. All my mom can do is complain about the food.
Large facility with friendly staff, nice garden and walking path, cute halloween decorations out front.
The dining room serves homemade style meals and they are tasty. Love the staff's professionalism and friendliness. Nice vibe in this building.
Redmond Heights Senior Living is a great place and is getting better and better by each moment. The love from the staff is amazing and something you feel as you walk in the door. Amy is a great Executive Director and I am excited to see what happens with her love for the community.
My mother was a resident at Redmond Heights Senior Living for 3 years until she passed away recently. She was confined to bed or a wheelchair due to a broken hip and age. The current crew of staff are very good, always friendly, always helpful and they were excellent in the last week of my mothers life, as she declined. We saved a lot of money by moving my mother 3 years ago from another well know area assisted living place. That place was very nice but my mother never cared about the nice
Wonderful people in this community.
Our first impression of Redmond Heights Senior Living facility was the warm welcome and friendliness of every one of the Staff members. The rooms were warm and very clean. We were looking for a smaller place for my Dad since he was moving from an Adult Family Home .We were invited back for lunch the next day and he was impressed with the food all the staff and their willingness to accommodate his special needs. Hard of hearing, special diet and any other assistance he would need. Redmond Heig

One of the deciding factors to move forward with this community is their location and catholic services. They have weekly communion and weekly mass. The facility itself is a beautiful place and they have a great staff. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. They are also very communicative as well. Currently they are helping us with options that would better care for our loved one. Overall I would recommend this community to others.
[Removed] was amazing to work with. Dated but very clean facility and professional staff. Looks can be deceiving. Light and bright. Like that they have a lot of services in the same community.
My Grandmother lived at this home for over a year. In the past 4 months the care has been horrible. Her room was not kept clean. She had to wait for assistance up to 20 minutes sometimes. The staff was constantly changing. They also did not have enough staff. The food was horrible. Please do not consider this place for anyone.
I am happy with the care my mom has been getting here. They keep a clean environment. The apartment my mom has is perfect for her and includes housekeeping. The meals are pretty good, I have tried it before. The community has lots of different things to engage with, it is nice.
My tour of this facility went well. The community is very nice looking, from what I saw everything is nice and clean. The staff was kind and informative, all my question were answered. There are nice activities and good food offered. It was a pleasant experience.
Kelly Parkinson/ Relations Director was very informative, and was very good at making sure that My brother was comfortable with his new situation, and that his needs would be taken care of. One month later she is still asking if all is well, and if there's anything else he needs... Thanks to all the staff!

Redmond Heights was a beautiful facility in a beautiful location. They had games going on. It was an interactive facility where the clients had something to say as to what they wanted to do during the day. Everything was great. I found the scenery to be beautiful and eye opening. I found it to be a nice place that an elder person would want to be. The staff was very cordial and very open to any of my questions. They were almost like family there, and I really appreciated that.
Overall our experience with Redmond Heights Senior Living has been a good one. I looked at quite a few memory care options in the area and this one really stood out. The facility itself is clean and well kept, it is set up nicely, and the rooms are beautiful. We've had a few issues here and there, but the staff is responsive and accommodating, and they've done their best to fix any problems we've had.
Redmond Heights was wonderful. I would rate the friendliness a five plus! Everyone was so kind and attentive. Things went well there before my mom passed away. It's a little bit of an older community but we liked it, we were happy with it. The staff encouraged her to eat, as she wasn't eating much by the time she got there. They bent over backwards to make sure all of the amenities were available to us.
The staff at Remond Heights is very good and committed to serving the elderly. Kelly Parkinson is the primary reason we selected Redmond Heights
The staff is great here. They are caring and attentive with the residents. The facility is always clean. Everyone here is so nice, including the other residents. The food isn't half bad either. Overall, we have had a good experience here.
It is the best low income choice in the area. The facilities are superior to other facilities that are low income.
I think overall they are pretty responsive. I think overall it is a great experience, so I have that peace of mind and I do not even have to worry about it. For me, Redmond Heights is kind of expensive though.
They have extremely high quality of care. The staff delivers the best service. I give them my highest recommendation.
I am very satisfied with where my friend is. Everything is fine right now. I know people over there, and I just think it is one of the best places. The people are really nice. The staff is fantastic. They are really a bunch of caring people that work together to make everything for the residents. They have great food. The chef is creative, so you will not think that you are eating institutional food. They have a lot of activities. I think she is in a very comfortable situation.
The staff at Redmond Heights is first rate. They really cared about my Mom and made her stay there extremely comfortable. The facilities are clean and extremely comfortable. They are very responsive to requests. I found them to be of high integrity and honesty. Without question, I give them my highest recommendation. Your loved ones will be extremely well cared for and you will get top value for the dollar here.
This is the fourth place that my parents have been in. It is an older facility and does not have all the bells and whistles, but it suits their needs. They are in their 90's and it is a good place for them. They have been willing to listen to feedback and work with me any time there are any issues that need attention and being flexible enough to accommodate.
We have been very well pleased with Redmond Heights Senior Living from the beginning and still are to this day. They were extremely helpful and provided us a wide range of options for our specific case and have done a great job.
One area where Redmond Heights Senior Living could improve is this: when they went to do an assessment of my mom before moving in, they should have been a little more attentive. The main caregiver later seemed to be blind-sighted with some of the issues she faced, though she was there during the initial assessment. Other than that it has been a very good experience. All the staff there has been extremely helpful and friendly. It can be a very difficult job taking care of seniors as they ar
I would love to be here. The people felt really at home. They had an elevator, and it's secure. Everything was right there. You don't have to worry about taking out your garbage. There were places in the hallway where you open the door and put them down the chute. You could buy stuff from the vending machines. It was too new to improve on anything -- maybe the food.
Excellent facility for my mom with many of the services she needs. Mechele is so kind, helpful and supportive. She has answered all my calls with great information. When mom is well enough to move up here this is the facility we will use.
NEW OWNERS - DO NOT RELY ON OLD REVIEWS. This facility is no longer owned by the original family and I would not recommend it. Our loved one, who has since passed away, was at Redmond Heights (Formerly Cascade) for over two years. We absolutely loved it when we moved her in but once the new company took over we quickly noticed a severe decline on nearly all levels. The memory care lost it's full time nurse and it became nearly impossible to talk to one. In her final days we felt she was
This is one of the places I looked at when touring. I liked this one the best out of all the places I have seen so far. It's a nice place.
Moving my Grandmother here was a challenge. She was set on not moving. She got there and refused to go in. The director and several staff members helped with the process and I am happy to report that after a month she is the happiest I have seen her in years. She is making friends and participating in activities. Each staff member feels like a member of the family and all are loving and supportive. The food is super good and there are options. I secretly plan my trips around lunch so I ca
My brother spent three months in Redmond Heights Senior Living. We had a wonderful experience all around. The staff was friendly and attentive. He really enjoyed all the activities that were available to him. The meals were excellent with a wide variety of choices. The office staff was easy to work with and all my questions were quickly answered. We would choose this facility again if faced with a need to be in an assisted living facility.
Are you waiting to exhale when you walk into yet another family of caregivers for your loved ones secondary home? My husband and I were warmly welcomed at Redmond Heights. The administration banded together to make Bob feel he was loved and looked after. His needs were well filled. I could exhale when I saw how he so quickly became a part of his extended family.
I had the job of looking for an assisted living home for my 96 year old mother after she was in the hospital with an injury and then could not come back to live with us. We had a week to find a place and right away Redmond Heights made it so easy! Their pricing is simply determined and very reasonable, which was a relief since it helps give her the security of knowing her savings can go farther. They were quick to help her visit and show her around and then helped make her transition fun and
Our father had been living in an Independent Living facility in Woodinville. Very nice place, but as Dad's memory increasingly faded, we found the need for a more secure and assistive situation. Dad became a resident in the Memory Unit in what was then Cascade Plaza. The entire unit had been recently remodeled and had no trace of "Old Folks Home" feel and/or smell. The staff was courteous, respectful and caring. The Ensign Group purchased Cascade Plaza in 2013, and have done nothing but i
My husband has Alzhiemers, he immediately relaxed and was welcomed as if he had come home. He stayed for a week and could easily be happy staying on. Kudos to the administration, front desk and staff.
Excellent very caring staff. Nursing staff very on top of patient's needs. We had a daily fee of 145 (a holiday special). My father was only at facility for one week.
The rates are very fair. The staff is friendly and always there to help. The activities keep the residents entertained. The facility is clean and well maintained. My father seems happy living at Redmond Heights.
My grandfather moved in a month ago and has been so happy. The daily activities are fabulous! He has made many friends. The staff are caring, kind and friendly. Everyone is welcoming, not only to my grandfather, but to the whole family. We join him for bingo and musical entertainment. They paint the ladies' nails on weekends, have outings that are designed for seniors, book club, news group, happy hour on Friday and a movie every night. There is always something for everyone. Too far around the lake. Health care would be at Evergreen. All apartments are studios. Not enough space for mom and dad.
I toured this place already. It shares its location with Cascade Plaza, an independent living facility, as well.
