My family member lived at Cogir. Died there too. Horrible place. All of the money goes to corporate people and/or remodeling. There is 1 visitor parking space available. The staff is great but it’s horribly understaffed. Management changes frequently so if 1 promises you anything, it’s worthless. You pay more to have your food delivered to your door than it would cost for Uber Eats and may take hours to be delivered. This is my fifth month living at Cogir of Queen Anne and I am really enjoying it. My apartment is spacious and comfortable, plus it has a view of the Seattle Space Needle! The staff is genuinely kind and caring. My social life has improved and I have met many new friends. The Sunday scenic drive is my favorite! I am grateful to be living here.

My 96 year old mother has lived here for over 12 years. Resident care taff members are attentive and diligent in making regular wellness checks. Nursing staff is just as attentive, they have alerted me whenever they detected issues that might require medical attention.

Great place to meet new people and enjoy easy living!

I like it here at Cogir of Queen Anne Senior Living. I start my day early and usually wake up around 7 o’clock. Several days a week the staff help me with my showers, which makes me feel refreshed and ready for the day. My family visits me as much as they can. I have three daughters and a son, and it means a lot to me to have their support while I’m recovering from my stroke. I really love it here. The food is excellent, and I especially enjoy the variety we’re offered every day. The people are truly my favorite part—both the residents and the staff. I enjoy the simple moments, like chatting with [name removed] while she’s cleaning my apartment. I also like taking part in some of our activities. I have only been at Cogir of Queen Anne a short time, but I already feel right at home. I love the meals here—it's such a treat to enjoy delicious food without having to cook or clean up. It gives me more time to read the newspaper and relax with the wonderful friends I’ve made. The activities are fantastic too. I like having a full list to choose from each day so I can pick what’s meaningful to me. I’m still very independent, and I truly enjoy the people, the staff, and the warm community here.

I really enjoy the community here. In fact, I like it so much that my daughter and I referred someone who is now a new resident. I previously lived in an assisted living community in Michigan for four years, but moved here to be closer to my daughter — and I have no regrets. Everything has been very nice. I did have one small issue recently with some laundry being misplaced, but the team is actively working to locate it.

After several recovery stays, I chose to make this my home at 90—and it’s been wonderful. The food is delicious, everything is kept spotless, and I love my daily walks both inside and around our beautiful community. The staff are friendly, my family is close by, and life here is truly easy and enjoyable. Highly recommended.

I really enjoy the community here. Even after selling my car and house, I’ve found a wonderful home. My daughter and son-in-law visit often and even join in our activities—especially happy hour! I like it here. I am very happy here. I love my apartment and the people are nice. Everyone comments how cozy it is. I moved in [date removed] and moved apartments once within the community when a more desirable layout came available. I love our happy hours and being social. I have independence here. It is fabulous to have this community to call home! The other residents have become my friends. So many of the staff are friendly, easy to talk to and very helpful for just about anything. I am telling so many of my friends who I want to live here with me. The next time you think of Senior Living, think of coming to my new community. You won't regret it.

I just needed treated my the nurse because I injured my elbow. The care team takes really good care of me when I need it. I want the food to get a little better. I love the burgers though. From time to time I get to enjoy the activities that are offered. They keep it clean here.

The meals here are terrific- breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It makes me happy that I can have my cat with me in my apartment. My cat is family to me. The dining staff are polite and smiling and I'm impressed with the meals. The cleanliness of the community is something I appreciate. Its nice to not have to clean anymore. Its a great place. My mother is in assisted living program. I visit daily. Staff is attentive and clearly concerned about her welfare. Wellness checks are frequent. They often seek me out to inform me when they notice she has issues such as a minor cough or complained of a source of discomfort.

I love it here at Cogir.I have a motorized scooter that works well in the elevators, and I can get everywhere from the dining, to the activity center, to my apartment. I can go on the bus with the hydraulic lifts. The food is great! I made good friends here.

There has been a huge amount of staff turnover at Cogir of Queen Anne and this has led to a myriad of disappointing things for my mom since she moved in there. One of the big ones was that when we toured and left our deposit their chef was highly touted and their food program was impressive. I love being here because it is geared towards accommodation of the needs that I have. The bathroom is designed for mobility issues like me and I like the apartment. Staff is very helpful and very kind. I've lived here 1 year. Food is good. I appreciate the commitment to improvement and am happy here. Weekly happy hour and singing with residents is one of my favorite activities.

My experience has been good. I am on care services. I find the staff overall very nice, helpful and pleasant. No complaints. I don't really participate in activities so can't speak to that, but I really enjoy my apartment.

I used to live on the other side of Queen [name removed] and so was very familiar with the neighborhood. I find the area to be very walkable and easy access to many entertainment options. It's a great place to live. I was particularly happy that there is a decent sized male population and also that it is a pet friendly community. I love animals and even though I don't have one of my own, I get to love on everyone else's dog.

I've made so many friends here and so many of them experience life and philosophy similar to me. I don't feel alone. I eat great here and it is nutritious. I absolutely enjoy my apartment. It has a great layout, it is so convenient. I work on my physicality every day. This place helps me with my independence. The care staff are great and so helpful. I love it here! I am so thankful!

I've lived here for 3 years. I really do like it here, most of all the residents. It's a class act place. I try to greet people who are new, make an effort to know their names. There is a true uplifting sense here, a spirit of health and happiness.

The move-in experience was seamless and everyone was very helpful. I would recommend Cogir Queen Anne as a retirement venue. The location is superb, near to Seattle Center & the Space Needle. The neighborhood is walkable (even in the rain) and there are many eateries and a QFC supermarket nearby. The move-in experience was seamless and the staff very cordial.

Cogir staff are very sweet and accommodating. However, there were some initial issues with getting them to take over medication management (my grandma's only assistance). Overall it's worked out okay though. The management does a good job there, overall. - The apartment is smaller but we knew the larger 1 bedroom units just weren't available off the courtyard, and so she chose a smaller unit to prioritize her dogs. Facility and staff were great, and accommodating. Corporate admin was impossible to access directly, and had a number of issues that needed to be resolved. All in all, I think it's probably the best value in Seattle from the sites I have seen.

This is a First Class establishment. Bright, clean, and friendly with a beautiful outdoor garden space. We felt welcomed as soon as we walked in the door. The location can’t get any better - one block to Seattle Center.

Very nice, good activities. Beautifully decorated (newly remodeled). Rooms are done well aesthetically, bathrooms bright and light. Main drawback is that they are slow to answer help requests, which, I believe is the case everywhere today. Excellent administrative staff.

Admin staff - there are issues with turnover. Meals/dining - although my mom cooks for herself, but when she has eaten at the dining room, she thought it was just ok. Apartment size is great. Lots of different activities- my mom likes the lunches out, happy hours, trips to casino, tulip festival, museums etc. There is always something going on.

The location of Cogir at Queen Anne is good because it is close to Seattle center which offers access to activities. It is not located near heavily traffic streets consequently noise it’s not a problem. I especially like the food that is served here. They were good choices. I especially like the soup for my lunch time. Finally there are many choices for walking outside. Besides going at Seattle Center,. I usually get a good walking in every day.

I'm a Healthcare provider. I see many facilities like Cogir Queen Anne, and I wanted to take the time to write. This facility is EXCELLENT! Exceptionally clean, staff is always available, and very helpful. They know their residents well, and always make my work easier by giving me insight to how each resident will best be approached. The care and kindness I see is heart-felt. ....and did i mention how CLEAN it is? A pleasure to come to visit!

They were very kind in understanding my mother's indecisiveness of when to move in. It was around the Christmas and New Year holidays so things were pretty busy. She's very happy that she's there now!

The staff doesn't always respond when called. The new head nurse they hired a couple of months ago [name removed] is wonderful and a good communicator. The happy hour entertainment that I've seen isn't good. Seems weird we pay so much and they don't even supply toilet paper. Seems like they wait too long to replace carpets, kind of run down. They don't do a great job of cleaning the apartment.

I was excited to have my family member live at Cogir Queen Anne. The price went way up within just a couple months based on reassessment of care, there have been issues with responsiveness of staff, and due to the unfortunate passing of the chef, the food and dining experience has gone way downhill. Staff and management turnover is extremely high. I regret choosing this facility for my family member and will be looking for a new place within the year.

Overall it has been great and cleanliness is great. Don't know about executives but good general staff, cleaning staff, maintenance etc. Meals have become bland for the most part. Big changes in chef, cooks and apparently budget. Also not enough wait staff. Long waits to place orders and then get food to table. I know the execs say they are hiring more people but... Activities are a high light!!! Great! Might add to note Cogir is updating rooms, the grounds and public areas. It is beautiful.

I picked this community because of the gorgeous large apartment with high ceilings and big windows surrounded by beautiful trees including some cherry blossoms. It's like living in a tree house! Winter views of Space Needle! Fabulous walkable neighborhood close to cultural events that l enjoy.

We enjoyed visiting our beloved Aunt at Cogirkirkland. Her apartment is lovely, but we spent most of our time in the dining area. Staff was attentive and lovely. Many guests stopped by to offer their greetings. It was a really wonderful way to spend the afternoon. Thank you cogir QA

The staff at Cogir were very responsive and attune to my mom’s needs during her move in. Lots of great activities for her to participate in, and she has made a number of friends in the short time she has been there. Great experience so far!

There has been quite a bit of turnover with staff and directors. When we first got there, we were told she could only have two meals, however, then we found it they were charging us for three we asked for a refund. They said they would do a discount on the rent and they haven't they've actually increased it by I don't remember what percent but it's another thing we're struggling with. I moved to Cogir on Queen Anne 3 weeks ago. I love the diningroom staff...always cheerful. The frontdesk person, likewise. I really appreciate the grounds and surrounding area for walks & just sitting and visiting. There is no time to be bored here: bingo, exercise, yoga, music, shopping trips and picnics. I am pleased to tell you about my experience at Cogir of Queen Anne. I’ve been an independent resident for 3 months. The staff and residents have been welcoming and friendly and I’ve been very happy here! There are so many activities such as exercise classes, movies, painting, Bingo and weekly musical guests (my favorites) plus outings to parks, museums and restaurants. I honestly hope to enjoy many years at Cogir among new friends in this lovely environment!

We recently moved my father into a one-bedroom apartment at Cogir. This is a lovely facility in a great location. More importantly everyone on the staff has been helpful and responsive to our needs and request. We feel secure and happy that our father is in good hands here. Thanks to all.

Received an excellent tour of the facility and all my questions answered. Till the end of the month they are offering an incredible 6K discount on one of their spacious rooms, which all include three meals a day, plus snacks. They offer Independent living accommodations as well as those described above with more attentive personal care provided.

Cogir was very good just didn't work for him. I liked the facility a lot but [name removed] was difficult. His health is better done so he is doing better at [facility name removed]. My relative is in Cogir of Queen Anne. The food is wonderful. It's a very nice atmosphere. However, as their agents, we had to keep track of their care, but their staff has been accessible. The rooms are very nice. The chef has a very nice menu and there are choices every day. The food is delicious. They have exercises, lectures, music, and art activities. It's expensive.

Overall it is a great location. Food is above average, views are incredible, rooms are nice. High turnover in staff, but that could be more indicative of industry. The prices went up a considerable amount less than one year in, way more than what they said they expected.

Activites are outstanding and plentiful. Something for everyone. NO matter what you abilities there is something for out in the activity department! Trips to parks, bingo, crafts, exrcise, movies and social gathering such with snacks ike a sundae or birthday cake. SUch great people work in the activity center also! We toured Cogir of Queen Anne. We didn't meet too many of the staff there. But it's older, and not as nice of a facility. The way that the rooms are organized, there are lots of weird angles and things. We rejected it because we just couldn't figure out how he could even furnish it. I am not receiving care at Cogir of Queen Anne, I'm in independent living. I also have not signed up for any meal plans. Thus those items are not applicable for me . All else is very satisfactory. Every month, my partner and I run a trivia activity at Cogir Queen Anne. When we arrive, the activities director and the staff are always engaged with the residents. This is my third residence, the first two in another city. This is the first residence that has an activity program. Inspection of the daily offerings reveals that there is something for everyone. The program allows us interact with other residents., making friends. There is a monthly meeting that allows us to request activities. Cogir at Queen Anne is always a great experience when I play music there. The staff always makes us feel like family and they are very good at getting everyone involved in the music. The smiles on the faces from the time I get there till the time I leave is assurance that we will always have a good time. She is always available......completing all kinds of activities; drives the bus; knows all residents and is always fun to be around. She completes the monthly calendar with events and outings. Often she cooks a special item for residents to eat in the Activities Room. At Happy Hour she will be serving and dancing with residents. [name removed] is a special lady and deserves recognition.

I think we have a spectacular Activities department. [name removed] and [name removed]are full of great ideas for our fun , interesting and eventful things to do, be introduced to and participate in from art projects to music to lectures on film, museum showings, art talks to lunches, happy hours and drives to see beautiful places. The units are nice and staff nice. We were only there about five weeks, but things seemed unorganized and staff were under - trained. I think we're due a refund on unused time, but no reply to my query about three weeks ago.

Cogir is a very clean retirement village that appears to good care of their residents. My aunt, whose in her 90s, enjoys being there, takes part in many activities, and has made several friends. My mom has been there since about 2019. She has developed anxiety and agoraphobia during the pandemic. As restrictions start to lift in King County, this Community is learning how to embrace the new landscape. I love that family dining is back and that families can start participating in activities again. It was wonderful seeing so many familiar faces last week for our Happy Hour Social. The Elvis and Dolly impersonators, were the best. What a toe tapping fun night. So much fun planned for 2022 and we are ALL ready for it.

This community is going to take off! My mother-in-law is having a blast with the new activities & entertainment. There is new management there & they truly take the time to listen to what the residents want! She is calling me excited & happier than ever.

If you want your loved one to get: consistent care, respect, and be as happy as they can be in an assisted living don't let them go to cogir. My mother never knew the caregivers because they always left. Management was rude to residents and staff. Maintenance issues were constantly overlooked. The food was awful, food allergens are looked at with disdain. All of this for 8000 or more a month.

We had a great tour with Cogir of Queen Anne. The facility is absolutely beautiful and the staff were very accommodating. We just felt it was not the best fit based on my parents circumstances at the time but are reconsidering.

This community was fine just too expensive for what we were looking for for our loved ones.

I would advise to make sure that this community is fully staffed before you even consider it. If they are not I would say no. It was just the staffing issue that caused us a problem. they had activities like, work outs, movie nights and outings to go shopping. They had a lot of different things to pick from to keep the residents busy.

We do know they are short staffed but they claim when a resident hits the call button given to them, it will take around 15 minutes for someone to respond but that isn't true it is more like around 45 minutes.

My wife and I are currently at Cogir of Queen Anne. The aides are very good. There are not too many active people here, and I find that challenging, because I walk around the blocks three or four times every morning, and not a lot of people would do that. I bought them a ping-pong table, but nobody has the sprightliness to play. They also have a really pretty courtyard. Review of Cogir Queen Anne Assisted Living Community Greetings! I almost never write reviews but I had to for Queen Anne Cogir. I can't say enough good things about this place. My Mom was in the assisted living building and I was constantly amazed at the level of care she received. Everyone was extra helpful and went out of their way to make sure she felt special. The "care team" members including house keeping established friendships with her and treated her as if she were their own mother.

Since Cogir took over from Brookdale in 2019, the entire place; management, staffing, care, building upkeep and especially dining services and food quality have plummeted. I can not recommend anyone moving in to this place.

The staff was more than helpful, and during the time our loved one was there he really enjoyed it. Everyone there was friendly and on a professional level. We do know they offered a wide range of activities. Before COVID they had movie nights, day trips, and live entertainment come in and play the piano.

Taking into account of COVID and all the restrictions, they have done a wonderful job given those restrictions. I came to visit this community twice and one of things i liked most about it was the location, which is in the city. I also love my apartment, it has a kitchenette and a washer and dryer in the apartment. They just changed chefs which i am very happy about, before the menu was boring and now they are trying different things which i appreciate. For what it is worth, it is a good place.

This community is overall great and they go out out of their way to help the residence. Room sizes are decent size my loved has a studio. They are getting their food in their rooms and it can come cold sometimes. I would definitely recommend this community

We just moved my 93 year old dad to Cogir based on the information we got from APFM. Cogir made it very easy to move dad and assured him he can keep his cat which is why we had to move him from the previous retirement community. He is so very happy which makes me happy!
