If I needed assisted living, I would live here. A social worker contacted me regrading my client, who could no longer live independently, and highly recommended Northgate Plaza. Her care was so appreciated. She was blind from birth. The whole team accommodated her needs in anyway they could. Their staff work & appreciate one another, creating a welcoming atmosphere. I especially like that it’s a smaller establishment with an inviting entrance. There’s more but I’ll leave it at that.

What a great experience! The staff is super friendly and very informative. We have had nothing but an excellent experience getting my mother situated in an assisted living community.

My father's apt is accommodating and was clean and ready to go upon move in. They even helped set up the cable tv. We are in Northgate Plaza. It's very nice. They're there for us if we need them. I have not seen one unhappy person here. They're just wonderful. People are easy to talk to, and you're never alone. My mom has been living at MBK Northgate for about six months now. There were some hiccups during the onboarding because of some miscommunication between staff members, but over time they resolved themselves. The care staff here are excellent, if pricey (cost of care increases every year, separate from the rent increase). What a beautiful community! I attended the Holiday craft fair and also took a tour of a lovely two bedroom unit. The Holiday event was full of craftspeople, artisans and sprinkled with culinary surprises. The two bedroom was spacious with two bathrooms and an airy kitchenette with a gorgeous back splash. It was a space easy to call home.

Outstanding staff of caregivers at all levels such as Michele, Denice, Nicole , Lisa K. , CeCe, Ziva, Genet and Daniella plus many others. Northgate Plaza is a good place for a person of retirement age to live. My mom has lived there nearly 11 years and although she has tried other places she always returned to Northgate. Staff like Michelle, Nicole, Ziska, Lisa(2), David, Gemet and CeeCee are always welcoming and accommodating.

Michelle played an instrumental part in helping our family place a loved one in an adult family home. We had no idea how to begin our search. Michelle reached out to facilities and basically did the leg work for us. The one we chose was someone she highly recommended. Our family member is receiving excellent care and we couldn’t be happier with our decision.

I am most impressed by the caring staff at Northgate Plaza

He's been Northgate Plaza three months so far so good. He is tough but they still keep him. I like the overall feel there and like I say he seems good and engaged. Happy with the food and activities and they honored him as a veteran. The staff seem mature. It has been a really good experience so far.

The staff are great. They are very helpful and caring. They plan lots of fun activities. And there are always special events around each holiday. But mostly the administration folks are very approachable. I am very happy here and have met many new friends. I highly recommend this place.

What a warm and welcoming community! I am always greeted by name from the fantastic Concierge, Denise. Everyone is so kind and I love walking into a vibrant, active space. The residents congregate in the lobby for activities, coffee and to see friends. The care team is amazing also. Alisha, the assisted living director, is such a wonderful advocate for her residents!

My mom has lived at Northgate Plaza since March of 2023. The facility and apartments have been remodeled nicely. I visit I often and found the caring staff is awesome, and food is great! Mom does not take advantage of activities, but looks like they have nice offerings in that department.

Initially my loved one was paying an additional [ amount removed] per month for her care level. Nobody ever reviewed it with her and nobody ever showed up to provide the help or services described in the care level. We had an amazing tour with Northgate Plaza. The staff were very welcoming. The facility itself is beautiful. This was a very close second choice for us, it was hard to choose. During the tour, they gave us samples of their food and it was excellent. I would definitely tell others to check this facility out during your search.

We chose NorthGate Plaza mainly because of the location and the overall feeling that we got from the salesperson. They have a great maintenance staff and a caring nursing staff. I would recommend this facility to others looking.

I went to Northgate Plaza. They were fine. We walked to the dining room and a couple of apartment samples. Then we sat at a desk and talked a lot about possibilities. Northgate Plaza has no way to get food to my wife in the room. We saw a studio and a one-bedroom. On Thursday afternoon, they have an open bar. The place is really nice.

This is a good full service place if your loved one want activities and meals and everything included. The staff here are very friendly and majority of them have been here a long time. My interactions with the staff are good. The tour was good and very welcoming and they gave me all of the information that I needed. There is a target next door and that makes it even better.

This was an excellent choice for my husband and I, we feel very supported here. Anytime we have questions they get the answer to us immediately. The activities are great and are actually doing more and more each day. The meals are good, sometimes it is a hit or miss, but the general rule here is they are good and the service is wonderful. The staff members are just so helpful, we are very happy happy people. This community has met all of her hopes and expectations.

We have heard good things about the meals they are serving from other residents, and the activities do look really good. They have a salon there which is great, but one thing that is a little disappointing is they have yet to find someone to work at the salon. However, we do think the value for cost is really good.

I've been in and out of Northgate Plaza many times and have always had a very positive experience. It's a beautiful, clean facility with the most friendly staff. We chose Northgate Plaza because I was impressed with the staff, they were helpful and continue to be helpful. They got to know my mom and her individual needs. The apartment sizes here were also very nice. My mom enjoys the meals, they have a dining room and they have a choice on entrees to choose from on the menu. If you need it delivered they can do that as well. Overall it is really a good experience for her and I would recommend to others looking.

From our understanding our loved one's seem to really be enjoying the meals they serve. They do set up a big outdoor tent with a heater where we can come visit them during the week.

I love that they have the dining room, it was the biggest thing for us. This doesn't feel like a cafeteria like a lot of other places we looked into. It feels more like a restaurant and they have a menu to choose from and are served. Right now it is hard because of the virus, but overall they have stayed on top of the medical needs of the residents. It does help to have an advocate family member. This is not the place I moved into. The food is not good, I throw out more than I eat!! Last night the beef dish was so bad I tossed it out in food waste!! Also the housekeeping staff is short-handed. I was told one person has from 11-14 apts in one day. My carpet has been cleaned once since I been here! Also last week at happy hr the tables in the patio I used 6 wet towels to clean. 2 tables I would not put anything on them, not very healthy!

We visited others and we chose this community because my mother in law is a smoker and she needed a place this she smoke safely. We did like everything about the community when we visited including the dining room was nice. The food is good with some variety in restaurant style dining. Her apartment is very nice. The laundry room has been inoperable for a month now which has been difficult for the residents.

I am totally satisfied with living here. It's like having Christmas every day! I'm still trying to get used to having everything done for you. And the meals remind me much of what my Mother used to make. It's a very nice atmosphere to be living in. I'm now able to manage my health much better! I'm totally satisfied!

My 83 year old father is very happy, having spent his first year at Northgate Plaza. The staff is great, and there are lots of nice parties and entertainments provided. His wife, who was living separately from him has decided to move in, because after visiting, she liked it so much, she decided to join him.

Staff is willing to work with residents, list to and accept suggestions and apply when able, provide activities that help our mental and physical being. Inner action between residents and the younger staff helps them with people skills. Outside services, 4 bus stops serving 6 bus routes and there are many retail shops within two blocks.

We visited this assisted living facility and liked it a lot, though didn’t come here since my Dad decided to stay in New Mexico. Very nice, cheerful and supportive staff. It felt like a welcoming community, with activities listed daily. I think my Dad would have been happy here.

We were so grateful that "A Place for Mom" helped us find Northgate Plaza. It was an easy and wonderful experience from the staff, to the actual apartment, to the price, etc. It's the perfect place for our dad.

We had some terrible experiences. They caregivers are unprofessional and not knowledgeable. I found it very shocking that I knew more about the medications and they mixed up his medication regimen. I noticed the director is mostly unavailable and I found that the staff complained a lot about her not being there too. Everything else about the community was fine.

Northgate is an attractive place, full of light and friendly staffers. Having good food served in the dining room is one of the most important aspects of a senior community. Residents are paying for two meals a day and having delicious and nutritious food is important for their health and their social experience. My mother is doing very well since her move into Northgate Plaza. The place is clean and accommodating, but the deciding factor was location. It is close to my home and close to where she wanted to stay.

When I toured Northgate Plaza, I thought it was a nice place. The tour guide was on time and gave me a lot of good information. I had a good experience touring, but it did not for my loved one's needs as good as other communities.

The facility was clean and the residents looked happy. I liked the atmosphere and could picture my parents living there. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

My 95 y.o. mother is using Northgate Plaza as a short-term assisted living while she gets 6 weeks of medical treatment. The staff is wonderful and very accommodating. The other residents are open and welcoming. Best of all, the food is restaurant-quality, with many delicious choices.

Northgate Plaza was an older facility with small rooms, but the staff was good, helpful, and friendly. They answered all of our questions and toured us around. They were closer to the city, and the price seemed higher, but the updates weren't there. It looked really dated, wasn't inviting, and didn't have the fresh feeling that we were looking for.

The wait staff in the Northgate Plaza dining room create a warm, pleasant, and fun atmosphere every day. They help not only the residents but each other and treat everyone with respect. I was able to visit Northgate Plaza, and I saw that they have a lot of activities; they all looked good. My only concern was that we like walking, and there is a lot of traffic around Northgate. It looked beautiful, but I felt it was more formal.

My sister, Andrea [Removed], invited my wife and I to have lunch with her today. The staff person who waited on us was Kacie [Removed] Her smile, positive attitude, and care for others really made my day. The way she took care of the gentleman sitting at a table near us, cutting his meat, catering to his every concern deserves special recognition. She is a shining star. She certainly reflects greatly on Northgate Plaza.

Sally Casem I enjoy Sally's cooking not only because it is more like what I'm used to having but they taste good. Also she tries to incorporate many different styles of cooking. Recently she has been putting an translation or explanation of some of the cooking terms used in the entree titles that might be unfamiliar to the residents. This tells us that she is listening to how the various residents feel. That is the sign of a good Chef I think.

Northgate Plaza was very nice, and the layout was very nice. The room was very nice as well and nicely laid out. I think food was included, and the staff was very accommodating. It's very close to shopping.

Our visit at Northgate Plaza was fine. The rooms were very large and very nice. The staff that gave us a tour was very helpful. The food was very good. They had a big calendar of daily activities.

It's a lovely place, I just wish there were more activities for residents. My dad enjoys playing cards, cribbage etc. There are a couple games going on during the week...Bingo and something else..but it would be nice if there was something like that to look forward to each day.

The Northgate Plaza is a nice place. Everyone is extremely friendly, the residents and the staff. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. The facility has a nice and clean atmosphere. The value is excellent for the services that you receive here. They offer activities. It has been a positive experience. This is an excellent community. We haven't had any issues or anything negative happen. It has been great.

I enjoyed visiting, and having lunch, at Northgate Plaza Merrill Gardens. I really love the friendly staff, and the access to a park across the street. I will contact them when and if I sell my house. It is in a neighborhood which I could enjoy, walking distance to Northgate Shopping Mall.

We chose Northgate Plaza for my in-laws as the facility for us seemed great and affordable. The facility is beautiful, the staff was very kind, and the food was great. They offer quite a lot to do. Every Friday they have happy hour kind of entertainment. They are keeping their residents socially stimulated.

I never thought tha att my age, I would make so many new friends. All the items and services that I need are within walking distancee, and an express business bus to downtown Seattle stops at my door.

Fun Nice Good food Come visit

The care is good and the activities are good too. We haven't been there that long but it's working out so far. We chose them for the price - it's a good deal.

Mom likes it very well, but Dad is still unconvinced. He does not understand the benefit of location and services all in one place, since others have been caring for him for 10 years at home.
