Reviews for Vineyard Park at Queen Anne Manor

Caring Staff, Memory Care Concerns

Queen Anne Manor earns consistent praise for its caring, dedicated staff and homey atmosphere in a convenient, walkable location. Reviewers highlight strong nursing care, cleanliness, and a warm environment, particularly for assisted living. However, multiple families report concerns about memory care specifically, citing high staff turnover, inadequate training, medication confusion, and safety issues that led some residents to relocate. Cost is frequently mentioned as steep, and housekeeping frequency receives criticism.

As a healthcare provider, communication is paramount. The nursing and administrative staff, particularly Laura (Wellness Director) Chris (LPN) and Abby ( Executive Director), here are exceptionally organized and proactive. They work together as a team. The nursing staff are always ready with patients' charts, medication lists and insights into patients' wellness when we enter the building, which allows for seamless, high-quality medical visits. The staff will also communicate any emergent issu

I had the pleasure of working with Abby, who is incredibly knowledgeable, hardworking, and truly seems to be the heart and soul of Queen Anne Manor. She made the entire experience seamless and completely stress-free. It’s clear that she genuinely cares, and that level of dedication makes all the difference. I highly recommend Queen Anne Manor to anyone looking for a place that truly puts people first.

First off I love the atmosphere here! Everyone is nice which is very hard to find. The staff is wonderful! Helpful, kind, and have the understanding that we, the residents, all have different needs and they adjust to each individually. The company looks out for the residents and we appreciate that a lot. I love the activity director and the lady who runs this place, Abby. Food is great, love the head chef, and the whole team in the kitchen. I love the whole dining experience here and the server

Happy low key environment. Awesome staff/front desk team. Helpful and supportive. Housekeeping is needed more and open hours for family visited after 5P. Someone should be there at 8am

Here's a draft for your review: --- **Heartfelt Care and Compassion at Queen Anne Manor** Queen Anne Manor provided a deeply compassionate and caring environment for my mother during the last month of her life. The staff went above and beyond in making sure she was comfortable, treated with dignity, and surrounded by love in her final days. They showed immense kindness not only to her but to our entire family during this difficult time. We spent countless hours there, both day and night, and

Staff turnover was very high and training and support of memory care staff was inadequate. My parents moved 12 months later due to concerns about food and mom's safety For assisted living I could recommend Queen Anne but not memory care. I'm fine having my name on it. My dad had many conversations with management prior to leaving since moving is really challenging and we all hoped Queen Anne Manor would work out.

It is ideal for parents in need of transition to assisted and memory care, and full-service memory care. It has great staff and location, and is a well managed facility. It is on the more reasonable end of financial commitment.

Queen Anne Manor is pretty much at the top of list compared to others we have been in. The staff and community stand out to make this a wonderful place for my loved ones. The food is being delivered currently to the residents' rooms due to the pandemic.

This community is pleasant and that the people are nice. This is also in a very good location. For people who still walk there are a lot of stores and restaurants near by, including a grocery store and drug store.

This community was very nice. It was a smaller community but it seemed very nice. It had that homey feeling that you look for in a community.

Queen Anne Manor has exceeded our family's expectations for assisted living. The facility is beautiful, the programs for seniors are enriching and meaningful and the care is second to none! Queen Anne Manor is an extended family. Everyone working there is amazing – a truly dedicated support staff. Our family couldn't be happier to have a loved one cared for at Queen Anne Manor.

Placing mom in memory care was hard. Katelyn, the marketing director, is so organized and helped us with every step. All of our questions were patiently answered. The care team has helped mom adjust and has made valuable suggestions. We are very happy with the care mom is receiving. Kristine, the executive director, has taken great care to help us understand options and made valuable suggestions.

The facility was in a great location, They took great care of my Grandma, and she was able to do things she wouldn't have been able to do by being there. The staff made sure she felt at home. I would defiantly recommend this community.

Very helpful phone call discussion from Queen Ann Manor. No high pressure. Very respectful.

It has a kind of traditional feel being It is an old building that has been remodeled. We chose this community because this is the one my mother picked for it felt homey. My mother loves the food. I would recommend this community to other families. I have had some issues with the administration and that has been frustrating to deal with. But the caregivers, nurses, front desk staff, cooks, dining staff , and activities person are all really nice.

I was able to move my young developmentally disabled sister into Queen Anne Manor in March, moments before the “shelter in place” was ordered. I feel extremely fortunate and thankful that she is there. There have been NO cases of the virus at this facility. My sister is very social and independent . The amazing staff have helped her adjust to being quarantined. She is being well cared for and kept safe. I am grateful for the kind staff and their patience. I look forward to being able to visit Q

Nice place, good area, good walkability, great for food, pretty small studio but do-able

I helped my elderly neighbor move from her home to assisted living. I have been really impressed by Queen Anne Manor. The facility is really beautiful, clean, and well maintained. What is really important to me, though, is the level of care. The staff here is amazing. The director is extremely involved in the well-being of every single resident. Everyone here truly cares about the residents and it shows in how they treat them and how involved they are in their wellbeing. I know that my neighbor

Terrible food, and worse, careless mistakes made by medical staff. I removed my mother after 10 days.

I went on a tour here it was clean and beautiful. The staff seemed up to par. They had a good level of care. It was a little to clinical feeling though. The room mom would have gotten was on the smaller side and it was more expensive. I would recommend families tour communities and speak to the residents before choosing a place.

The Queen Anne Manor was really a wonderful program and offered a very strong program for Alzheimers patients. Really very structured and carefully organized memory care programs. Very attractive center.

I met with [Removed] and was given a good tour of the memory care part of the facility . He did a great job. Nice enough place, but it is also going through some important upgrades. They are in the process of renovating (painting) so it will look better very soon. They are also adding an activities professional for the memory care residents soon. Nice outdoor spaces and beautiful old stately building. I'm waiting to get details to them from my mom's existing facility before getting a finan

This community was a little to large for our loved one. She felt like it was over the top. The community was clean and the people we met were nice. She felt that she would get lost in this larger community.

AnonymousFebruary 2, 2017

It was a really nice place to see but the age of the community did not seem appealing. i did not get the feeling of being cozy and comfortable for my loved one. Everything else was nice. It was clean and the staff and residents were all nice.

We had a very good experience with this community. They did a very good job caring for my father and his needs. The owner, and the nurses were great. I was comfortable with the care he was receiving. My family was very pleased with all they did for us. This is a lovely community.

During our tour of this community my loved one and I noticed that this building resembled an old haunted building. It felt just like a mental asylum and gave my loved one and I too much of and institutionalized feeling. The lady who gave us our tour was very friendly and took her time showing the facility to us, it just was not the right fit for my mother.

I loved this place and put down a deposit. :-)

This is a very nice community for my mom. She is happy with the staff and the cleanliness of the commnity. She does participate in the activities. We would recommend this to other families.

I had a very pleasant tour at this community. It is a very nice looking community. Everyone was very nice and friendly. The apartment they showed us were very wonderful, it looked very beautiful. The facility was very nice. It was a bit expensive, but it would be worth it. I recommend for anyone to go tour.

They do a pretty good job. It does smell like urine though, as you are walking to his room. They work really hard to have him active in the activities.

AnonymousSeptember 15, 2015

Overall it has been a great experience and staff has been very friendly. Everything is excellent here.

The organizer that we first dealt with when we got started was very helpful in getting us set u. We really appreciated that. Everyone is very friendly when we come in and she really likes living there.

No good for memory care or dementia. The staff do not engage with the residents-Just the 1-2 activity staff spend any time with them. Poor communication within the staff. Confusion with medications. There was no air conditioner in my moms room, took a few days but finally got it in.

Its a very nice facility overall of upkeep of building and grounds. Staff isn't as skilled as I would have liked and alot of turn over might be the issue.

APFM was great to work with. I was given a specialist, Karen, who gave me great options and choices and always had super follow up. I selected Quuen Anne Manor and have been extremely happy with the results for my dad memory care. I had to move my dad from the east coast to Seattle and both organizations made the move effortless. APFM is the only way to go when such crucial decisions have to be made for loved ones long term care. Thank you so much!

It's a nice place and the staff there are very nice and friendly. However, it certainly comes at a price, and in my estimation it is pretty steep. I am not sure if it is worth the money, but it is a nice place.

When I began looking for an assisted living + memory care facility for mother, Queen Anne Manor was the top of the list due to location. When I compared & visited other facilities it became the clear choice. The size was right - not too small yet not too big. The range of assistance options was ideal. Mother lived for almost a year in an assisted living studio. When her memory and health problems increased, Anna's Garden Transitions (the moderate level memory care area) became the best

My mother was at Queen Anne Manor for a respite stay of two months. I am extremely pleased with the care she received. The Administration is first rate. The staff was, to a person, caring, respectful, warm and welcoming. Both the Administrators and Staff were very helpful in keeping me informed about my mother as well as getting to know her to better meet her needs both socially and medically. It was good to feel that my mother was in good hands. My mother had a very positive experience at

If you want peace of mind that your loved will be well cared for in a retirement community Queen Anne Manor is a great option. We moved our Dad to the Manor after having a negative experience at another local facility. Their caring staff became like family to us and we could trust them to treat Dad with dignity and respect.

Holly ZinterJuly 26, 2014

My Mom and Dad lived at Queen Anne Manor in their memory care community Anna's Garden. The community is very nice but has a comfortable homey feel to it that fit my parents. The nursing staff was very caring to both my parents and to my husband and I. The management there was always responsive to us and they took the time to pay attention to our requests when we had concerns. I would recommend QAM to other people considering an assisted living community as we had a great experience there.

Of course is was way overpriced but it's hard to establish value because it's an arbitrary number. I would say it's fair based on market analysis. I have recommended it to 3 other people so that says it all. It was about location, location, location for me. It's got a very old world feel and I like that but some people don't. And because it's older their room sizes are smaller so if you needed more room this might not be the right place. The key consideration outside of location was the flexibil

Probably where we will take parents. Great feeling and lovely space. Lot's of light. We are scheduled for the nurse assessment and are very excited for my parents to move to Anna's Garden. We LOVE the apartment, the 4 large windows that make the room so light, the large size of the room and bathroom, the staff, the feeling of caring and warmth.
