Warm Staff, Pricey, Mixed Food
Fairwinds Brittany Park consistently earns praise for its warm, caring staff, vibrant atmosphere, and excellent activities program including off-site excursions. Residents and families highlight the hotel-like cleanliness, strong sense of community, and convenient location near shops and parks. However, food quality receives mixed reviews—some call it restaurant-caliber while others find it merely adequate with small portions—and cost is frequently mentioned as expensive, particularly given that base rent includes only dinner.

The facility acknowledged all deficiencies, completed corrections within the timeframe, and passed the follow-up inspection with no deficiencies found on 8/14/2024, demonstrating adequate corrective action and commitment to ongoing compliance monitoring.
View original report →The facility experienced a pipeline leak causing flooding in a resident's apartment, requiring significant repairs to kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, walls, and flooring. The facility promptly relocated the resident to another apartment and initiated repairs, but failed to notify Construction Review Services before beginning work as required by WAC 388-78A-2850. Once educated by the investigator about the requirement, the facility immediately submitted the required application to CRS. The resident reported satisfaction with services and no changes to the care plan were needed, demonstrating adequate response to the resident's immediate needs despite the procedural oversight.
